@LEVIS@Siemens@saitexdenim@ISAIC_Detroit@ARM_Robotics Video credit goes to Zack DeZon, who has been documenting our journey from the beginning. Back then, people asked if it was CGI. These days, people ask if it's AI. Nope - real robots, real fabric, and one extremely talented photographer.
Excited to share our robotic sewing platform is now able to perform more than half of the labor that goes into a pair of jeans. This critical milestone, after years of development, allows us to move forward with building our first full-scale assembly line.
This project was in collaboration with a team including @Levis, @Siemens, @SaitexDenim, and @ISAIC_Detroit. Special thanks to @ARM_robotics, who funded this project. We're incredibly grateful to the team for their support of our dream to revolutionize apparel manufacturing.
Excited to join forces with @sewbo_ and @ARM_Robotics to introduce automation, digitalization, and robotic assembly capabilities not yet seen in textile #manufacturing.
We’re bringing new technology to sewing🧵, supporting a trillion-dollar industry.
Along with @sewbo_ and @ARM_Robotics, we're introducing automation, digitalization, and robotic assembly capabilities not yet seen in textile #manufacturing. https://t.co/WyIjqlq8wZ
Sewbo is grateful to @ARM_Robotics for their support of robotic sewing, and very proud to be tackling these challenges alongside an amazing team including @Siemens, @Levis, @ISAIC_Detroit, and Bluewater Defense. https://t.co/8bdiKjeLe0
You may not realize it, but almost every piece of clothing you own was made, in some part, by a person.
Why haven't we figured out how automate it?

@planetmoney How about Episode 713, The Sewing Robot? Since your story we’ve announced the worlds first robotically sewn garment! https://t.co/I6NrGD0B4K
That's clever - deep learning style transfer for fashion design. Transfer prints or fabrics from one pattern to another! Neat project out of @UMBC https://t.co/rnUXsFP65M
