@jack_uk94@Tesco Basically no because they couldn’t guarantee that the levels of gluten are low enough as not all the checks were being done. It may have changed by now since it was a while ago. We’ve swapped to Asda gf cereals as they’re so much cheaper. Hope that helps. 😊
@Tesco I’ve just noticed that @Coeliac_UK has listed your own brand cornflakes & rice snaps as not suitable for coeliacs - they used to be. Has your recipe changed recently, can you please tell me the ppm of gluten in these cereals. It’s a staple of my child’s breakfast. 😢
@coeliacpositive@Coeliac_UK Toaster bags are your friend, esp. when travelling.
Good luck, my dad started the same journey (at over 70yrs when diagnosed) last year during the lockdown, it can be harder to adapt & has been a different journey than for my daughter who was 2 when we started our gf journey.
@coeliacpositive@Coeliac_UK Don’t get discouraged when first trying new foods (eg bread) one brand can be very different to another. Be open to failure - especially when trying gf baking at first but take heart that it becomes easier! Lots of naturally gf food out there and don’t only shop in gf aisle.
@whiterabbitpiz so disappointed with this pizza we bought from Sainsbury’s. My daughter was really looking forward to it but now has to eat cereal for dinner instead. Just thankful I saw the mould before cooking it. 🤢🤢
@JuvelaGF the pharmacy has accidentally given us harvest mix rather than our usual white mix 😳😳- can I use it just the same as white mix (eg in bread maker or making pizza) or does it require recipe changes? #helpplease
Hi @Moma my (coeliac) daughter is doing her DofE expedition next month & after lots of taste tests has decided ur cranberry porridge pot was the best. 😍 The next day I go in & horror of horrors our @sainsburys now doesn’t stock it. 😱😱 Where else can I buy it singly please?
Myth: You can ‘grow out’ of having coeliac disease.
Fact: Coeliac disease is a lifelong autoimmune condition and the gluten free diet is the only treatment.

I love it when the child is on holiday & offers to make lunch! 😍😍 Pasta salad with tuna, sweet corn, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts & fresh herbs. #glutenfree#summerholidays#pastasalad#lunch
We are just loving these @KETTLEChipsUK crisps at the moment. My child likes the balsamic vinegar ones & I’m enjoying the beetroot slices. Never in my life did I expect to eat beetroot as an adult & I certainly didn’t think I’d be wishing there were more in there! #gfcrisps
We had another @SimplyCookcom meal and it was delicious. This was the Moqueca De Peixe, so easy to make and my child liked it too. We are really enjoying trying some different flavours and dishes, they have a great gluten free selection which is even better. #simplycook#gffood
