We have surveyed our volunteers and 97% have said that being a part of our group and sewing for charity had a positive impact on their mental health.

- Second hand fabric in good condition is great, no pilling or stains pls
- White & light colours aren't suitable, darker colours or prints are perfect
- Ideally polycotton, cotton is ok, pure polyester is not suitable (on linen you can usually see the fabric blend on the label)

Here is a link to the tutorial, it's quite long but take a peek and let me know what you think. My usual suggestion for beginners is to just get stuck in and do a test using an old duvet and if you don't enjoy it no biggie.
