@TheBarmyArmy I love Stokes and made up he is rightly back as Capt. But I am surprised that he showed very little remorse for breaking the curfew and didn't actually apologise either. Seemed like he felt that he hadn't done anything wrong ???
@TheBarmyArmy Clearly not !!! Eng showing just how far they have slumped in the real game of cricket. Other than Root none of the other batters have the skill, tenacity nor patience to build a test innings. Too much T20 has diluted basic batting skills & the art of building a long innings.
@TheBarmyArmy Why do we persist with the myth that is Archer? He made his test debut 7 yrs ago & is never fit enough. Root has taken more test wkts than Archer !! And as for his batting !!! He can slog in the T20 but his batting in real cricket shows he is nothing but a No. 11 rabbit.
@TheBarmyArmy We must have the most injury prone bowlers in the world . . . questions have to be asked about the fitness & conditioning of our bowlers. Wood, Archer, Robinson, Stokes . . none of them can last a full series - worse still don't seem to be able to play 3 consecutive games !!!
@SkyCricket@ECB_cricket reaping what they sow. Destroyed test cricket in the height of summer in favour of the circus of The 100. Now their flagship test match at Lords will finish in 3 days. If you want the circus play it outside of Jul/Aug. leave test cricket when it should be played.
@SkyCricket T20 is entertaining but is killing the real game. Batsmen no longer know how to bat properly. The skill and art of batting is being lost ...
@TheBarmyArmy@RuthStraussFdn What a shit first day you mean .... its supposed to be test cricket over 5 days yet 16 wkts in one day shows poor batting technique from both sides ... T20 has its place in today's cricket but are we losing the art of batting because of it ???
@RWGbluenose Cos its the flaw in the offside rules ... he is onside cos ball went out wide. BUT he gets an advantage by being behind the defender who is holding his line for the original pass and is then free to score when ball crossed in. Its wrong but its down to the clueless law makers.
@SkySportsNews When are you gonna fuck this clueless gimp off. He tries to continually defend poor refs & bad decisions. How can a player who aims a deliberate headbutt at a player stay on the pitch yet we have red cards given for minor hair pulls. Which is the more violent action ???
@BBCMOTD I usually love the world cup & can't wait for it to come around. But i really hope that this one is an unmitigated disaster with empty stadia & Fifa lose millions. They have betrayed every real football fan by taking it to the US & fleecing every fan with obscene prices.
As good as India have batted that is the worst ever bowling ive seen fm an England team in T20 cricket, clueless, brainless and just shit. Backed up by comical feilding. @TheBarmyArmy
@R_o_M@PGMOL . . . that agenda against Everton is crystal clear for all to see. Your refs are just incompetent. Where was Joelintons card ? Where was the card for Rob Edwards running down the line ? . . . Its pathetic how you make different decisons for the same offences.
@TeleCricket@timwig Serves them right for selling out to Indian owners, setting up a tinpot circus of a competition that devalues cricket. You reap what you sow @ECB_cricket . . you are losing control of the sport in our own country. Shameful !!!
@TheBarmyArmy@T20WorldCup Archer should buy Curran a few drinks as he got Archer out of a mess. Archer almost threw that away with a dreadful over only for Curran to show him exactly how to bowl correctly at the death.
Archer for me has never shown consistency ... he was wild and uncontrolled today ...
