First, somewhat controversial: Imposter syndrome isn't real!
The feeling is very real, but if we think of it as imposter syndrome then it seems like the problem is with the person feeling it, and not with the environment.
Imposter syndrome is lack of safety.
The 1st step in helping folks overcome so called imposter syndrome on our team, is making sure that they know that in our environment, you will never experience harm (ridicule, derision, loss of peers' respect, etc) for not knowing something or being expert at it immediately.
The root cause of #burnout is capitalism, which operates on the premise that people are batteries for companies, and should be exhausted until they are spent.
