An 88 percent increase in the number of whole homes to rent in Gaeltacht areas on Airbnb – in just six years
'The history of the Gaeltachts as places of radical and forward thinking gets forgotten now when they've become a holiday destination,' say @CnaG

🚨CONFIRMED! Fine Gael leader Simon Harris made it clear this morning that the government will withdraw energy credits for hardpressed households in next month’s Budget. It’s a body blow for households under huge pressure to pay runaway electricity bills.
We won’t stand for this! This government needs to get real and do its job. It’s time to end the rip-off, get costs under control, and support workers and families in the Budget.
A timely reminder that for all their attempts to de-emphasise it (because they know their stance is wildly unpopular), Aontú are a party that was founded for one reason and one reason alone
🇮🇪 Another step forward for a United Ireland!
Last night Dublin City Council voted overwhelmingly to urge the government to prepare for the reunification of Ireland. Day by day, inch by inch we are heading towards a United Ireland.
The Irish government cannot continue to be a bystander as history unfolds. The planning and preparations for constitutional change must start now. We can be the generation that unites Ireland. Together we can build the great future our young people deserve.
Another example of the Govt’s incompetence on housing.
3,000 social homes are now at risk because Govt refused to listen.
PPPs were never good value for money.
Govt must fund the Councils to deliver these homes ASAP!
Starmer is stealing from the sick to give to the war industry
I’m sure it’s completely unrelated to Starmer taking a £4million donation from Quadrature Capital, a hedge-fund with substantial investments in the arms industry & private healthcare
The ‘Labour Party’ is an illusion
