Some of the harder moments felt minimized, but that’s one of the first things you learn when moving into higher stations of life.

Educated by @tarawestover was a great book. I also enjoyed Poison Ivy by @EvanMandery. Looking for suggestions for some new reading material. Can be older and dense, but must be educational and/or thoughtful.

@EvanMandery @tarawestover @eminietfeld Thanks. It’s encouraging to read about others who started further back and traveled farther forward. It normalizes an uncommon experience. My undergraduate alma mater, Wayne State, jumpstarted my journey of upward mobility. WashU, however, is what really changed my trajectory.

Spotted a VW ID. Buzz in the wild today. Looks great in person. This was a five person model that had plenty of room in the rear. Hopefully they will bring a seven passenger camper version to the US!
