Sidney Crosby was just trying to enjoy lunch during a vacation in the Bahamas when a 10-year-old Penguins fan spotted him nearby.
After working up the courage to ask for a photo, she got much more than she expected.
Crosby posed with her, walked over to speak with the rest of the family, talked hockey and stayed for a few more pictures.
Then came the part they did not see coming.
When the family asked for their bill, they learned Crosby had already paid for their entire lunch. He also left the young fan an autograph and a handwritten note.
No cameras. No announcement. Just a quiet gesture from one of hockey’s biggest stars.
Sidney Crosby has built a legendary career through what he does on the ice, but moments like this explain why he is respected just as much away from it.
Absolute class from Sid. 👏

@SpencerHakimian@HockeyRenegade I believe it. Not enough deportations, a war no one wants, and the federal government hasnt been dismantled. Oh and the Epstein child predators haven’t been arrested yet.
@RepThomasMassie Agreed. But there was no income tax until Wilson. Let’s provide a tariff system and encourage American business. But reps or senators will never tackle the global network or eliminate their cash cow slush fund of taxpayer dollars.
@LeaderJohnThune@POTUS@SenateGOP So we aren’t getting the save act and the big “GOP” will continue to be the uniparty? Can’t wait until all the non citizens vote you all out forever. Then you’ll sit and cry that we need to do something. Worthless
@ClaudetteGGibs1 I always think it’s funny that nurses for years walked around in scrubs everywhere. We all wonder why the rate of hospital based infections are so high.Covid made medical professionals actually care about infection control.Theyre probably back going 2 room 2 room not disinfecting
@Kenny_Wallace The wnba is like watching the cup series - extremely boring and not entertaining at all. Gotta do those bush series races for some good racing product.
