Extreme tides have limited safe access to the vessels moored at Hyde Street Pier this week. In response, the pier will be closed June 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2023. We look forward to greeting visitors again on June 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
PARK UPDATE, May 17, 2023:
HERCULES' departure to the dry dock facility has been rescheduled to the week of June 5th, 2023. Preparations are currently underway to ensure a safe transit.

The surfaces of our ship, C.A. THAYER, are curved to shed water, but when covered in ice, they quickly shed people! For this reason, we did briefly close the pier yesterday.
But Hyde Street Pier is back open today! ☀️

**Park Update**
The relocation of the Tubbs Cordage Office building from Hyde Street Pier to the bocce court area has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning, February 23. Expect limited traffic in the area.

@Aksers The Visitor Center is temporarily open this Wednesday and Thursday (Jan 4-5) only, 10am-5pm, in lieu of these closures. Normal Visitor Center hours are 10am-5pm, Fridays-Sundays. Open on Mondays: Hyde Street Pier and Aquatic Park.
Heavy rain and high winds starting early tomorrow. Hyde Street Pier and Maritime Museum will be closed Wed, Jan. 4 and Thurs, Jan. 5 for visitor safety and protection of park resources. The Visitor Center will be open Wed and Thurs, 10am to 5pm. Please plan ahead and stay safe!
