@GiantHotTakes I didn’t hear he was bad, but you wouldn’t. If you have a veteran pitcher I would expect to hear, “I love him, he’s been great, I’ve learned so much from him.” I never heard anything close to that. We give old and rehabbing pitchers contracts too often let the young guys pitch.

@GiantHotTakes Absolutely not untouchable. For the right price he can and should be available. We have Devers for 7 more years, he’s a proven hitter. Bryce has enticing potential, but hasn’t forced his way onto the MLB roster with his play. I’ve watched him in AAA, he could absolutely fail.

@schwarbombz Since when does a sub .250 average equal MVP? I’m thinking you might be biased…if he wins it’s a travesty. I hate the Dodgers but Ohtani has a higher ba, obp, slug, ops, steals, runs, triples. How bad are today’s hitters? HR or strike out! One .300 hitter in the NL? Pitiful!

@OurSf49ers 7-8…far weaker team than last year, where injuries cost us. Relying on the draft is a risky move, and could take years to recover. I don’t think they’re done either…Aiyuk is probably gone too. Wouldn’t be surprised if Trent says “F it I retire!” Then we are a 4th place team!

@BDPeacock Why take the cap hit for a 5th rounder? Just keep him! What’s the point? We won’t have Aiyuk until mid season, and chances are he won’t be 100% until the following year!
