Fletcher is the first Trump-backed challenger in Indiana to successfully oust an incumbent state senator targeted for opposing a GOP-friendly redistricting plan last year.
With the new VA map, Sabato’s Crystal Ball has 217 districts leaning Dem, 205 seats leaning GOP and 13 marked as toss-ups, ahead of November's midterms.
