Built a Sudoku generator + solver to learn building native desktop GUI apps & Wasm. It includes solving algos including Knuth's DLX.

Also ported it to web using WebAssembly.

Used C++, ImGui +OpenGL, EmScripten

Will later optimize it using SIMD.

@jesx64 Problems I faced in windows are:

Building from source.

I had to rely on WSL for docker, redis, etc. Tbh working with 2 different file systems( ntfs, ext4) isn't that convenient.

It's bloated.

Always requires restarting for update installation.

Blue screen of death.
