yesterday Ledger announced a new Safe multisig interface that supports clear signing. Overall a good move, I thought (interface diversity is good). Well, guess what, they charge a "Multisig Fee" on top of gas: $10 flat for normal txs, 0.05% for token transfers. You might say that's fair, that the product has value; well hear me out: no fucking no. You're not gonna make multisig users your fucking cash cow. Ain't gonna happen. You parade as Cypherpunk while trying to make Ledger Wallet (rebranded from Ledger Live) the single choke point for all crypto so you can squeeze everyone through it (guys, this won't happen). The multisig UI is not open-source, Ledger Nano S can't sign (so OGs like myself are basically censored), and there's zero info on the transaction service used for signature collection. Ledger once built for users and principles; now it builds business funnels and profit channels. Corporate gloss over Cypherpunk roots. Gimme a fucking break.
I started using my @ready_co card just 14 days ago, and I am already close to hitting the monthly cashback limit.
I recently used it to purchase my Token2049 ticket and flights, and I will also be using it to book my accommodation. On top of that, I plan to use it for my upcoming trips, Japan in October and Europe in early December.
Honestly, I am enjoying the experience. I keep custody of my funds in my @Starknet wallet, which itself is a smart contract, and it’s secured by Ready’s time-lock + 2FA features.
Transactions are seamless and safe. Instead of a one-time pin (OTP) being sent to a phone number, I simply get a notification within the app to review and approve, especially for first-time transactions.
Another feature I like is flexibility, I can keep funds in another wallet and just transfer as needed. Thanks to @layerswap integration, bridging from other chains is free and effortless: send funds to the address provided, and they appear in my wallet almost instantly.
I even convinced my partner to apply for a Ready metal card. He has already completed KYC, though the cards are currently unavailable, likely because of high demand.
If you don’t have it yet, you’re missing out, it’s hands down the best crypto card available right now. $ETH $STRK

Why care about verified source code?
🔐 full transparency of the smart contract’s logic means tighter security! No more relying on function names extracted from the class’ ABI (which may be deceitful)

Introducing our new solution for driving Dapp adoption.
It builds on @WalletConnect and is open sourced as we'd love other Dapps and wallets to collaborate.
