Good Friday Morning!
You don't have to see the whole picture to trust it's coming together. God is working behind the scenes even when you can't see it. Just keep believing that things are working out according to His plan.
One day at a time. One step at a time. One breath at a time. That's all you have to focus on. Trust Him with the rest.
Have a fantastic day!
What we have is too good to keep to ourselves! This is your reminder to invite someone to church with you tomorrow. I will be speaking @freechapel and there's no telling what God will do.
Visit https://t.co/3oYqhsKshm to find a campus near you.
Tomorrow as you walk into church and drop that hefty seed at the altar, I hope your house help is not still waiting for the salary you promised her weeks ago.
Tomorrow as you stand at the door ushering people with a smile and a "God bless you," I hope you have not spent the whole week disrespecting your husband and making your home miserable.
Tomorrow as you climb the pulpit to preach a powerful sermon on holiness, I hope your wife is not carrying wounds from your insults, neglect, or abuse.
Tomorrow as you pick up the microphone to lead worship and invite God's presence, I hope you did not spend Saturday night living in the very sin you will be singing against on Sunday morning.
Tomorrow as a brother you proudly serve in protocol, escorting men of God and acting spiritual, I hope you have not spent today manipulating women, deceiving them, and asking them to send you money.
Tomorrow as you sit in the front row shouting "Amen!", I hope you are not owing people money and refusing to answer their calls.
Tomorrow as you testify about God's goodness, I hope there is nobody crying because of the pain you caused them.
Tomorrow as you kneel at the altar for prayer, I hope there is no employee, worker, or business person you have cheated and refused to pay.
Tomorrow as you pray for open doors, I hope you are not the one closing doors for others through jealousy, gossip, and hatred.
Tomorrow as you preach about forgiveness, I hope there is not a family member you haven't spoken to for years because of pride.
Tomorrow as you sing about the love of Christ, I hope you are not treating people around you with bitterness, contempt, and arrogance.
Tomorrow as you ask God to bless your marriage, I hope you are not secretly entertaining another relationship outside your marriage.
Tomorrow as you ask God for promotion, I hope you are not spending your week sabotaging colleagues and pulling others down.
Tomorrow as you call yourself a prayer warrior, I hope your tongue is not the same tongue that destroys people through gossip.
And please, tomorrow don't go to church just to discuss a sister whose marriage is struggling.
Don't go to church just to analyse why a brother lost his job.
Don't go to church just to investigate who is dating who.
Don't go to church just to spread stories about a pastor, an usher, a choir member, or someone's family.
Some people arrive in church carrying prayer requests but leave carrying rumours.
Some people know every problem in the congregation but know very little about prayer.
Some people can spend two hours discussing another person's failure but cannot spend ten minutes praying for them.
The truth is, gossip has damaged many believers more than the devil ever did.
If a sister's marriage is struggling, pray for her.
If a brother lost his job, pray for him.
If someone fell into sin, pray for their restoration.
If someone is going through a difficult season, don't turn their pain into your entertainment.
Tomorrow, before judging others, examine yourself.
Before discussing another person's weakness, deal with your own.
Before correcting others publicly, make sure your private life is pleasing to God.
Church is not a theatre.
Church is not a gossip centre.
Church is not a place to display spirituality.
Church is a place where broken people come to seek God.
May we carry the same Christianity into our homes, workplaces, businesses, relationships, and private lives that we display on Sunday morning.
Because the God we worship in public is the same God who watches us in secret.
May this Mother’s Day be filled with gratitude, peace, and cherished memories. To all mothers and those who mother in faith and love—we thank you, we honor you, and we pray for you today and always.🙏🏼❤️
Don’t just show up to church this weekend, instead be intentional:
1. Pray before you go.
2. Worship in the car on the way.
3. Get there early.
4. Invite someone.
5. Talk to people.
6. Sing loudly.
7. Bring your Bible.
8. Take notes.
9. Be kind at the restaurant afterwards.
They waved palms on Sunday… but where were they on Friday? 👀
🌿 Palm Sunday – Welcomed like a King
🧹 Monday – Challenged corruption
📖 Tuesday – Spoke uncomfortable truth
💰 Wednesday – Betrayed for silver
🍞 Thursday – Chose love till the end
✝️ Friday – Paid the price
🪨 Saturday – Silence & waiting
🌅 Sunday – The greatest comeback in history
Celebration → Betrayal → Sacrifice → Victory
Easy to praise in the crowd… harder to stand in the cross.
Would you stay? 🤔
