Coached a team (old NAOS) through Project MVP a few months back. Nothing crazy, just helping them clean up mechanics. Watching them take down a top contender (Nongshim) in Ascension groups was something else. Four players held a 1.2+ VLR rating against them that series.
It just shows that team wide improvement hits different than just one player popping off. Just cool to see the work show up and be able to beat a great team with really good aimers. You grind and the confidence follows through.
Now, Nongshim is in the grand finals of Masters Santiago. Mad respect to them for the run they're on. Would love to see them climb back from Ascension to Masters winners.
