Joe Haden says most people have no idea how quickly an NFL contract disappears once taxes and family expenses hit.
“I signed a five-year, $50 million contract.”
“I had about $26.6 million guaranteed.”
“My first year, I got a $12 million signing bonus.”
“After taxes, I only touched around $7 million.”
“The first thing I did was give my parents $3 million.”
“Then I bought them a $1 million house.”
“So right away, about $5 million was gone.”
“I bought my brothers cars.”
“I bought myself a penthouse.”
“I got a Range Rover Sport and a Bentley GT.”
“People hear $50 million and think you’ve got $50 million sitting in the bank.”
“That’s not how it works.”
“You look up after all that and realize you might only have around $1 million left.”
“You start understanding real quick that a $50 million contract is not actually $50 million.”
“That’s why so many guys go broke.”

BREAKING: Marco Rubio just said the quiet part out loud.
Americans work 40+ years…
Pay taxes.
Follow the rules.
Build the country.
Then retire on $800, $900, maybe $1,000 a month.
Meanwhile, new arrivals can allegedly receive more support from the same system they never paid into.
Read that again.
The people who built America are being pushed to the back of the line.
This is not compassion.
This is a government priority problem.
America First was never just a slogan.
It was a warning.
Who comes first?
The taxpayer… or the system?
@l3v1at4an Hopefully he will sue the mess out of them! Sicking these protesters can say and do what they want. A protest should never be allowed in a residential setting! Let them go to the officers neighborhood and see how they like it!!!

Bret Michaels Drops Out of Trump-Backed Freedom 250 Event, Citing Threats
Rocker Bret Michaels has become the latest artist to pull out of the Freedom 250 concerts in Washington, D.C.
In his statement, Michaels said the event “has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of.”
He added: “Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable.”
Sad to see artists facing threats for simply wanting to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
Prayers for safety for Bret Michaels, his fans, band, crew, family, and all innocent patriots involved.
