My Tweets are my own thoughts. “For after all, the best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain.” - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. #grantrant
@CTVNews Great. Do we automatically get a do-over on the voting (job application process)...we do actually employ them, though they forget that fact sometimes.
@BryanPassifiume Sigh...They can't stand their families and needed a business trip to decompress. They rest of you are just jellie cause they get a hotel bed without the kids and dogs.
@AshleyGWinter Got the last seat on a 737 classic a number of years ago, middle seat between two guys on the larger side like me. The meal was steak...we each took turns eating thanks to a quick thinking FA. Not the most comfortable flight but it worked.
@mcouros @ericchurch Virtuous?! Guessing it is that attitude that has got us to this point, where we can't look after our own people and have to rely on the rest of the country for help. It was a stupid idea Mike, you thought an election was a bad idea how can you logically defend a concert?
@mcouros @ChrisMcQuid @ericchurch As a provincial and federal tax payer it is somewhat incomprehensible that we're using other provinces and military to right our wrongs while we still have a party. That's the thinking that puts us in dubious headlines in the country.
@mcouros @ChrisMcQuid @ericchurch I understand people need a release. But it seems very odd to have large social events when we can't take care of ourselves. If we were managing, they'd be an argument, but that is not the case at present. 1/2
@mcouros @ericchurch Seems odd that people feel the need to celebrate when record numbers of children are heading to the hospitals and our health system can't keep up with basics. But, guessing the concert folks felt good enough about themselves, so forget everything else.
@dw_harrison @stphnmaher Or, what support program (federal or provincial) has no time limit both for the givers and receivers. The receivers have to make some effort to support themselves over time. Wonder if that might be the crux of the argument for the 'have' provinces (some use to be have not)
@stphnmaher Was equalization between provinces initially deemed to be 'occasional' or non-systemic? It does seem that some provinces have made little effort to "get off the dole" for many decades.
@CTVNews Guess it will cut down on travel and entertainment expenses and revert to 'drive thru' dinners. They won't be able to attend the usual events and will be essentially useless in representing their constituents. Good way to recall a few bad decisions last month.
