You know, with other presidents, I just assumed he'd be in the Oval at night during a war. I didn't need a WH flack telling me, every other hour, that the President is, in fact, doing something.
Besides, I already knew he's up at night from the weird tweets.
UPDATE: When I entered this race, I made a promise to the voters of my home state of Tennessee that I would always fight for them. And, I will always fight for what is right. Full statement below ⬇️
History will not be kind to this moment. The state legislature changed the rules of the game to silence your voice and your vote because Andy Ogles was losing his election. Full statement below ⬇️
In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.
How much is it costing taxpayers for Trump to send military helicopters to do fly-bys for washed up *musicians* and try to intimidate NASHVILLE protestors?
I sit on the House Intelligence Committee. We have real threats to our country. And Kash Patel is wasting resources on this bullshit.
This is a closed, decade old case where Swalwell cooperated with the FBI and was found innocent of any wrongdoing.
Reopening it now, right as he leads in the polls and ballots are about to drop, is a political hit-job!
Trump and Kash Patel are weaponizing the FBI against people they deem political enemies.
So let’s send them a loud and clear message: You don’t get to pick California’s next governor. Voters do.
(1/10) @realDonaldTrump cited me as supporting his attack on Iran and expressing regret we didn’t do it during the Biden Administration. Except I didn’t.
I remember when my Republican colleagues blasted Barack Obama over $400M tied to hostages and an old debt with Iran.
Now, under Donald Trump, sanctions relief on 140M barrels of Iranian oil could net Tehran up to $15 BILLION — while the U.S. is at war.
Where’s the outrage now?
Dear @WhiteHouse: Please, please, please, please, please, please send Kevin Hassett—trump’s Director of the National Economic Council—to every single House swing district.
He can tell the voters directly, with his smug face, that hurting consumers is “the last of our concerns.”
European reaction to Trump’s war against Iran redefines fecklessness. I thought Greenland was the stand/up moment. But Europeans are half- endorsing a war they don’t believe in; pulled like a moth to a flame to cater to Trump who has nothing but contempt for them.
