The Centre is closed in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today we commemorate the children who died, the children who made it home, and their families and communities affected by the trauma from the residential schools.

Meet Zahrah! She is our amazing volunteer receptionist on Tuesday mornings. Our volunteer receptionists are essential in running the Centre. If you phone the Centre or come to register for a program or event, chances are you have met one of our volunteer receptionists!

What a perfect day for fish and chips! We had an amazing time exploring the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, visiting the shops and looking at the boats in Steveston last Friday! Thank you to everyone that joined us.

Our lovely Knitting Group is knitting Ukrainian flags to raise money to support @CUFCanada. If you want to be part of this initiative, please come by the Centre and purchase a flag by donation; 100% of the money raised will go to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
