Stop using Puerto Ricans as a distraction. The bar is so slow that we’ve spent two days talking about who thinks we’re trash & who thinks we’re “talented Americans.”
Call me when we’re ready to discuss how both parties have exploited their colony to serve US corporate interests.
@Daeden@AlanPlotzker@mikeduncan "considered dirty"
yes that is a subjective opinion people can have, hence your use of the word "considered". But just like it can be CONSIDERED dirty, it can instead be considered a valid form of free speech self-expression or art, depending on the context.
@Daeden@AlanPlotzker@mikeduncan Graffiti being inherently foul or dirty is a connotation that word has to you. There's nothing objective about it or your application of the word defilement for this instance of it.
@Daeden@AlanPlotzker@mikeduncan Lol, funny thing about English, words have connotations and common usages in addition to and beyond strict dictionary definitions. But does putting revutionary resistance messages on a statue of LAFAYETTE even make it foul? No; that's just an opinion you want to be true.
Important thread from Puerto Rican climate journalist @Vaquero2XL about the environmental and ecological impact of the proposed mega resort community (read: colonizer enclave) in Cabo Rojo.
