My free college photoshop account (which was supposed to expire right after graduation) finally kicked the bucket today (over 3 years after graduation)
@EmersonCollege can you please share a eulogy
And if they took the capital they used to acquire Zach Wilson & Aaron Rodgers and put it towards supporting Darnold…
They could have built a roster comparable to that Seahawks roster
You won’t convince me otherwise
What Sam Darnold proved last night is exactly what I’ve said for 8 years
He isn’t Perfect
But he is more than good enough to win with a good team, when supported properly
Sam was never the problem in New York

Drake Maye looks like he’s seeing something out there.
I can’t put my finger on the word. Poltergeists? Spirits? Ghouls?
What is it that he looks like he’s seeing out there???
HE’S SEEING GHOSTS
Glad to see everybody joining the Sam Darnold hype train
I don't gatekeep. All Aboard.
Just remember tho, I've been here continuously since 2018. Acknowledge your past wrongs before getting on.
That is what makes the Mets handling of Alonso permanently unforgivable, and why Stearns is nowhere close to being off the hook
They've now had an adequate offseason
but letting Alonso walk is the difference between "They're probably better" and "They could win a World Series"
Most would agree the Mets are not worse on paper than they were last year
Some would argue they're better
This issue is, for an extra $11M (2.76% Total Payroll Increase) they could have had Alonso (instead of Polanco) and STILL add all the other players they've added

For ball knowers:
In the video game “Blitz the League 2” there was a novelty game mode where every single tackle resulted in a fumble. It was absolute rugby chaos as expected
It felt a lot like the game I just watched in New England in the NFL Playoffs
Happy for the Jets tho. Didn't really want him.
Take Ty Simpson or Trinidad Chambliss at 16 (or even 33)
Let em play
If they're good: great!
If they're bad: You didn't waste a top 10 pick on em, you can redraft a QB next year
I'll be honest, don't understand this for Dante Moore
Even with NIL, he'll make significantly less money in college than in the NFL
And why?
to improve his draft stock by 1 spot?
To avoid the Jets?
Breaking News: the team who picks at 2 overall next year won't be good either

With all rules that made college sports unique wiped out and historic rivalries disappearing by the day, the clock is ticking
In 50 years, your grandchildren will be baffled when you tell them you used to watch College Sports. College Football will be entirely culturally dead.
Why don't you ask some other Minor Leagues how profitable that is in the long term
Minor Leagues survive entirely on subsidies from Major Leagues and intern labor. They do not make money
That is what college football has made itself, on purpose
