07.11.1918 NZ admin controlling Samoa made the deadly decision to knowingly allow a ship carrying Spanish flu to dock in Apia Harbour.
Results were catastrophic wiping out over 1/4 of Samoas population in one of the worst cultural catastrophes in history.
