➤ Thousands had gathered overnight for food, when at 3:30 a.m., Israeli tanks and drones opened fire on the crowd.
➤ Eyewitnesses report chaos, with some estimates putting the death toll as high as 50.
➤ Medical centers in Rafah and Khan Younis were overwhelmed, treating nearly 180 injured many with gunshot and shrapnel wounds.
➤ Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross described patients shot from multiple directions, including by tanks, drones, helicopters, and soldiers.
