The Cŵn Annwn (pronounced koon ah-noon and meaning "hounds of Annwn") are spectral hounds from Welsh mythology and folklore.
They are associated with the Wild Hunt and serve as the hunting pack of the ruler of Annwn, the Welsh Otherworld.
Appearance: They are most famously described as snow-white with striking blood-red ears, although some folklore mentions them as being small, liver-coloured, or entirely black and ugly.
Masters: In the earliest myths (the Mabinogion), their master is Arawn, the king of Annwn. In later medieval lore, this role is taken by Gwyn ap Nudd, a figure associated with the underworld and the king of the fairies (as seen in the provided image).

MARZANNA (MORANA) In Slavic folklore in winter, an effigy of Marzanna is carried by children through the village, then cast into the river. It is not merely a ritual, it is a symbolic exorcism of winter, a summoning of spring. She is winter personified & so is drowned or burned for the new season #GothicYuletide
