No, it’s not a strawman. The original post by Big Jon was open mockery, not serious critique. You’re defending a gotcha that assumes Christians are polytheists, which we are not.

The Trinity is biblical monotheism (Gen 19:24, Deut 6:4 + John 1:1-14, Col 2:9, Phil 2:5-8). Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t make it illogical. It either breaks one of the three laws of logic or it doesn’t.

Loaded questions and misrepresentations aren’t “pointing out problems.” They’re rhetoric. Drop them if you want real dialogue.

No, the question is not “straightforward” It’s a loaded question fallacy by design. It smuggles in the false assumption that Christians believe in multiple separate gods, which we don’t.

We believe in the Trinity: one God in three persons that share in the divine nature that is God. (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Only the Son became incarnate and died on the cross in His human nature. The Father and Spirit did not die. This doesn’t create polytheism.

It’s a rhetorical gotcha, not an honest question. If you actually want real discussion with Christians, drop the loaded framing and stop misrepresenting what we believe. Otherwise it’s just bad-faith repetition.

Caitlin Clark can sit out as long as she needs to. That’s her and the team’s decision, not something the public is automatically entitled to every detail about. Steph White is simply relaying what she was told; blaming her for not having more information doesn’t make much sense.

Criticizing the WNBA’s communication is one thing, but this kind of post comes across as overly personal. Players deserve privacy around injuries, and fans don’t have a right to demand real-time medical updates just because they’re invested. Let’s give her space to recover without turning it into drama.
