Land reclamation works in Th. Veymandoo have been successfully completed, with a total of 27 hectares reclaimed.
The project was carried out using TSHD FILIPPO BRUNELLESCHI between 12 March and 04 April 2026.
This milestone supports continued infrastructure development and regional growth across the Maldives.

Like the Maldives, China is committed to achieving carbon neutrality and protecting our shared environment. As part of this effort, China’s 1.8 GW offshore solar project in Hebei is progressing steadily. Once completed, it is expected to generate around 2.7 billion kWh of electricity annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2.16 million tonnes each year.
