Second Hebbal loop opens for traffic
Two and half years in power, and this may be the Congress government’s standout achievement. An exception in a city where most infrastructure projects have remained stalled or moving at snail’s pace

🚨 BMRCL's MD Blocks Updates!
⚠️ In a regressive move that is against transparency, BMRCL's new MD have instructed a contractor not to share the package's monthly drone videos to Youtube.
Previously, the contractor was sharing the drone view updates every month, showcasing the progress. All packages across all contractors uploads drone videos. However, the particular package's contractor in question have now deleted all the videos from Youtube. Upon query, answered that it was done so on the instruction from BMRCL MD. Even now, other packages videos aren't affected (yet) but the MD instructed package have wiped out all videos from public domain.
🟢 When the new GBA Chief M.Maheshwar Rao is setting example by regularly sharing updates and having dedicate project handles like Ejipura flyover posting updates!
🟢 When the new BDA commissioner Shri Manivannan is setting example in the quoted tweet below, encouraging the updates & also asking their PRO to follow suit!
🟢 When Central Govt is constantly disseminating the information proudly showcasing the works their country has undertaken and even engaging with infra influencers from social media!
🟥 Our new BMRCL MD takes a step in the reverse direction. So, neither does BMRCL PR share project update videos, nor do they allow others to share.
This is similar to my experience with their PRO where they refused to host their own dashboard on their website and yet also refused to share any project info for creation of my dashboard on behalf. We had to file RTI.
As if the mute BMRCL social media accounts isn't enough, muting the contractors from speaking isn't enough, now muting harmless youtube videos which were running fine all these years.
Hope BMRCL is aware that we can fly our own drones to put similar videos in public domain. Your PRO refused to rework on their newsletter & X, to share detailed project updates. We started doing it on behalf on our own. You block videos, we will create our own!
