Today we are celebrating the impact of the Future Cities programme in @CityofJoburgZA where 200 Soweto residents co-designed and approved an economic development plan that includes gender equality and socially inclusion to ensure everyone's voices are heard in urban planning.
Better cities means better lives. Since 2019, the UK has been working with South African cities and communities to shape the policies that improve the places they live in, such as in Soweto township in Johannesburg.
