Recycling efforts are waning in Ireland.

72% of plastic bottles, containers and wrappers are not recycled and are instead incinerated.

We all have a collective responsibility to make the world a better place.

It has been estimated that Ireland currently recycles 42% of all plastics. Reaching the EU target of 50% by 2025 will be a significant challenge unless everyone plays their part.

At least 14 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year, and plastic makes up 80% of all marine litter.

At Shabra, we believe that with responsible management plastic can be repurposed to create a net positive for businesses and communities.
