Our new photorealistic sign language avatar model at @talksignco is almost ready, with 4K output.
A major upgrade from our previous version on the left. The difference is already pretty wild.
Thank you so much @SemudaraAbayomi for telling the story and helping shine a light on why this work matters.
There’s still so much to build, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. 🙏🏾
Today feels like a big one for me personally at Talksign @talksignco 🎉
After months of building, learning, and working closely with Deaf contributors, linguists, and researchers, the Talksign Marketplace is officially live.

I did a random AI search about my brand yesterday like I regularly do, and I saw that LoveweddingsNG had listed us as top 20 Nigerian wedding photographer sometime in March🤭

@AirtelNigeria I haven’t been able to use my airtel ODU for days now!! I thought it was because the subscription was about to expire, I subscribed again yesterday and up till this very moment it’s not working, keeps saying No internet connection!! @AirtelNigeria
I studied Mathematics at the university for four years, and one thing I learned is that mathematics is far more than numbers and formulas. It teaches logic, structured thinking, problem solving, analytical reasoning, and discipline. These are skills that shape how people think, make decisions, and solve real world problems across every industry.
Over the next 10 years, this decision could widen Nigeria’s skills gap in critical industries. As the world moves deeper into AI, data, robotics, fintech, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing, countries that weaken mathematical foundations risk producing graduates who are less prepared for the modern economy. Employers may increasingly struggle to find talent with strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
The impact may also affect innovation and national development. The world’s leading economies invest heavily in STEM education because mathematics powers science, engineering, technology, finance, and research. Reducing the importance of mathematics could unintentionally reduce the number of students capable of pursuing highly technical and globally competitive careers in the future.
Rather than removing mathematics as a requirement, Nigeria should focus on improving how mathematics is taught. Many students struggle not because mathematics is unnecessary, but because the education system often makes it difficult to learn effectively. Better teachers, practical learning approaches, technology driven education, and curriculum reform would create a stronger solution.
A country cannot build a globally competitive future while weakening one of the most important foundations of intellectual and economic development.
Last Thursday at the QAHE Global Connect Conference reminded me how powerful it is when academia, research, and real-world execution meet in the same room.
Conversations around AI, automation, enterprise innovation, healthcare, accessibility, and entrepreneurship all came back to one question: how do we move fast without losing the human element?
A highlight was meeting Dr. Imani Kyaruzi and discovering striking parallels between his Dream Idea and Opportunity (DIO) framework and ideas from my forthcoming book, Velocity, Momentum, and Distribution.
Big thanks to @promiseakwaowo for the invitation and thoughtful introduction. Grateful for rooms where people are willing to think out loud together.
