Need some technical help.

My friends aged mother is staying with her for a month as she transitions to assisted living. She's very hard of hearing and can't hear her cellphone when my friend calls.

Is there a simple tool that will flash a house lamp or light fixture bulb when her mother's iPhone rings? Note:

1. I know her phone will flash; she doesn't keep it close by so that won't solve the issue.
2. I tried the Phillips Hue set up (hub plus bulb) but couldn't get that to work.

Apparently the issue is that getting the iPhone ring to activate a lamp bulb requires an intermediary third-party bridge/software.

Is there a proprietary Apple product that would work easily? Someone somewhere must have solved this. Any insights?
