@TDL_24@maddoxrules@mommawray14@nypost Parroting back what I said doesn't work if you're wrong. You made a claim, I refuted it with data. In fact, add yourself as a data point to people who should not be fucking homeschooling anybody.
@TDL_24@maddoxrules@mommawray14@nypost Why would I elaborate further? You clearly cannot extrapolate from the data I've already presented. Nor have you presented any counter claim. Go back to sucking the right wing Koolaid nipple.
@TDL_24@maddoxrules@mommawray14@nypost Fucking "most" people?! 21% of US adults are functionally illiterate and 54% read below a sixth grade level according to the NCES. And the average literacy score dropped 12 points from 2017-23. Most people can barely get beyond The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Teach, my ass.
@GregPresco62359@BillSmi72331024@SenSanders I can see there are differences. Generally though, late state capitalism is resulting similarly. A few people or companies own all the assets, land, and wealth. Therefore they own all the labor. And they then capture that labor in perpetuity by exploitation/aggressive monopoly
@joshuatheard@SenatorWarnock And there are about 1% of trans people in the US, but that doesn't stop your insane crusade against them like it's the biggest problem of all civilization. Duly fuck off.
@BillSmi72331024@SenSanders The fact that she starts this saying "before capitalism" and then says it was feudalism is enough for me to know she's talking out her ass about what is and isn't. Feudalism is capitalism. The rest is a statement of opinion rather than qualifying why it isn't possible.
@verkbench@maddoxrules Except we're not assuming lol medical concepts like vaccines have among the largest sample sizes possible. The results are in constantly, over decades. We would see much higher percentage of issues if it were significant.
@JeffOstler1@SenSanders No, YOU obviously failed civics. I just told you that he's an independent and his "buddies" also think he's a socialist that threaten their mega money teats. And he fucking DID complain about it then. I've seen videos in the 90s of him doing the same grandstanding.
@JeffOstler1@SenSanders His voice is 1 in 100 and in case you don't know, he's in the heavy minority. 1 in 638 if you count the House writing laws. And those colleagues? They're writing it the way the corporations want it to be because they're also patrons to the campaigns and lobbyists.
@wholemars Are you fucking kidding me?! Why would DJT approve it?! That's your defense? He approves of the most heinous things imaginable, what a subterranean bar. And that's if he bothered to read anything in his role as a statesman instead of primping for the camera.
@livetorevolt@Liberty_Vegan@triftyturnip@JezziiB Citation? Even if that were true, you won't have enough experience and information that an older adult will. That incongruous dynamic is why it's easy to take advantage of children, no matter how smart they are. The principle is the same.
@Liberty_Vegan@triftyturnip@JezziiB I suggest you actually fucking research this because there are some huge changes made between 18-25. The executive functioning, reward centers, risk taking systems are all heavily affected and fine tuned and optimized during that time. Meaning, decision making sucks until then.
@FarmingVirgina@Hawthorne_Ghost@AOC Irrelevant to my point. We'd need a study to see if those kids in the district are doing better or worse than the rest of the state. Not only that but he referenced an article about math, not reading.
@houmanasefi@SenSanders His Senate seat comprises 1% of the power. Even less if you consider the House. He's practically the only one grandstanding every day for those 40 years. Miss me with that shit.
