It’s interesting how songs become more relevant with time. “If I Can Dream” was written by Walter Earl Brown for @elvis and his ‘68 Comeback Special. Elvis wanted his final song in the show to reflect what was going on in the world at the time following the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Robert F. Kennedy. In paying tribute to them.. he only performed the song this one time.

Listening to the words, they still ring true today. A good song stands the test of time and continues to speak to and hopefully unite generations!

On a less serious note, I’m super excited for EPIC (Elvis Presley in Concert) coming out tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing Elvis’ story.. as told by him!
