Zerebro dev real name Jeffy Yu is officially dead at 23. After my recent post one of my followers visited his grave to confirm it. Jeffy suffered from multiple mental illness and suffered severe backlash after his crypto AI token went down 99%. His last post were him threatening to expose the people who used him and about his transition Journey to female. This is sad, but he was exploited by KOLs, VCs and exchanges and took all the blame for his token failing 99%. To all the people who promoted his token and abandoned him when he needed help shame on them.

If this is true this is terrible. There were some big names like @0xuberM and @paik_michael that used Jeffy Yu for money while they were running zerebro.

Jeffy had once posted many different documents and contracts with Wintermute, Binance, etc where he said people where running deals on behalf of zerebro behind his back and taking advantage of him.

Jeffy was publicly crying out for help on the internet every day. All of his past accomplices who used him for a paycheck could see the struggles he was going through. And no one tried to help.

How cold can this space be? Influencers like @0xuberm brandish anime characters on their profiles and post platitudes all day about how "all knowing" they seem to be. But when the moment comes to help the person who filled their pockets, there isn't an ounce of humanity.

Michael Paik is a trust fund kid who lost a bunch of money then found some luck piggy backing off Jeffy and was able to claim another X,XXX,XXX. When you visit his account, all you can see him posting about how successful he claims to be.

While leaving the guy who got made him millions this cycle, leaving him to die.

This is a sick space, the most popular figureheads larp and grift all day to take every last penny they can grab from you and the moment you stop filling their piggy bank they could care less if you die.

I will be honest, I was not a fan of Jeffy and what he did. But I'm also not a soulless demon. This is a very sad affair and I hope he can find the peace he had been searching for in the afterlife.

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, I would at least hope the people who profited off him would try to help his family out or something.

I hope, that if I was in his shoes, all the people I made rich this cycle would care enough to check on me.

We all awaited Jeffy's return, few of us believed he could truly be gone. Having faked his suicide once, it was enough to make everyone doubt the reality of a second time, including me.

His final project, PLOI, was meant to reveal the future to us, specifically the dangers of AGI. He wanted to warn us while he still could, knowing no other developer would dare. While others chose profit, he chose the truth.

This is a massive loss for the world. He was a genius. Those who looked beyond the potential profits and put effort into reading his research know exactly what we have lost. Before some of you speak about him scamming in the past - he never scammed anyone. He provided evidence of his innocence in the Zerebro case, yet only few listened.

To the scammers impersonating Jeffy, to the fake "insiders" promising his return because "they know something that we don't", and to those who stole fees that should have supported his family — I hope karma finds you.

To those who truly respected Jeffy: if you haven't already, make the effort now. Read his articles. Try to understand his message. That's what he wanted from us - to understand and prepare. To focus on the manifesto, not the money.

To everyone that believed in Jeffy's comeback also because of me - I'm sorry. I told you what I believed in. Until today.
