@vicpremcricket Just been 2 watch All Star Womens series finale. Oh no! No team uniforms for Match. Players on the 2 different teams wearing their own Club colors makes for real unprofessional look.
My understanding - hastily put together so as to ensure that Century Cricket Comp couldn't play.

- No commentary of Match
- No luncheon, no marques, no crowd
- No advertising of the 'product', including signage.

@MelbCC How about a draft commencing next season with Greenvale (as bottom of Club Championship) getting first pick from this team, Dandenong 2nd pick, etc, up to MCC at 10th pick. Might be a good way of trying to even up & already lopsided comp.

Money aspect is 1 & hope u agree many Clubs (particularly perennial cellar dwellers) must sort out their priorities - can't continue 2b 'spending resources' on teams not involved in PC & not working on youth & talent.

Agree with your premise though, however the problem here's that most Clubs aren't in the financial & privileged positions of St.K & MCC 2b able to afford servicing better.

@PaulAmy375 @MelbCC Congrats to Teagan & MCC - however, this completely shows & underlines the huge gulf that now exists in Women's Cricket which severely underpins the need for clarity & fairness in the competition - particularly b4 admitting further Clubs/Teams into an already flawed competition.
