Thoughts on Gender-Neutral Changing Rooms and Toilets

Many organizations—from universities to hospitals—are adopting gender-neutral changing rooms and toilets. While I fully support tolerance and respect for individual identities, I have some concerns

about this trend:

I believe these changes are sometimes driven more by cost-saving and space management than by genuine efforts to foster mutual respect.
Gender-neutral facilities should be offered in addition to, not as replacements for, traditional changing/toilet
