16 years after the first Apple iPhone was launched, the @Humane AI Pin has launched.
This is the first real world device powered by AI for a post smartphone world.

As a technology observer & commentator, this blows my mind in so many ways.
The muted launch video, without special effects or technical mumbo jumbo and NO SLIDES! That itself is a huge feat for a product launch.

The Humane AI Pin is launching in US only for now, and a price tag of $699 with a $24 subscription is certainly competitive for smartphone users.

This is certainly a niche product. Smartphone screens are drugs that the entire world is addicted to. Apps make incredible use cases possible. But for most communication, one can totally replace a screened device with a device that one doesn't need to stare into all day long.

The possibilities are endless and we're at the precipice of a brand new wave of devices that work magically and demand lesser and lesser inputs and attention from us.

I'm excited for this future. ☺️
