Update on my stolen phones.

On the 5th, I handed an iPhone 13 and a Samsung S21 Plus to an InDrive courier at Computer Village, Ikeja to Surulere. He marked it "delivered" on the app. The recipient never received anything.
Two days later I'm still nowhere. 💔

And if he is never found, is the value of these phones going to be reimbursed?
The owner is on my neck. I could be facing arrest over this any day now.
I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm asking for an answer. @inDrive @inDriveBrasil @inDriveLata, come and tell me.

Why is there no way for a SENDER to confirm delivery? He ticked "delivered" from his end and that was the end of it. No tracking, no confirmation code, no proof of handover. Nothing. Ass in hand, 629,000 worth of devices gone.

Are you not responsible for the riders on your platform?

You verified him enough to put him on your app and let him carry another person's property.

I asked her: if the owner of the phones has me arrested before you call me back, what happens?
She said they'd "collaborate with the police."
I texted again last night on two apps. No reply on IG. On the app they responded like my case was starting from the beginning. Again.

Their plan: block his account and "try to reach him through other means." Vague.
I asked when I'd get an update. "I'll update you." I asked for 6PM yesterday.
It's the 7th and i still haven't heard shit!

Later that day (yesterday) InDrive called me, from South Africa. Made me describe the whole thing from scratch again, like the case never existed. I've told this story to them more times than I can count. They apologised.

They started explaining "tracking" to me. Then came the bill: ₦70,000 to file a petition.
After much argument, they let me write it and then asked for ₦30,000. Thirty thousand naira to ACCEPT a piece of paper. I left angry.

Yesterday the owner of the phones told me to report to the police. So I went to Ikeja.
Let me just say this: pray you never need the Nigerian police. I'd have had better luck going shop to shop in Computer Village.

Then he left, marked the trip completed, and disappeared.
When I finally got him on the phone he said he was "at Maryland, still coming." Next call, "Jibowu." Ikeja to Surulere. Then he stopped picking. Then the line went off entirely.

Recap: I booked him on InDrive. He met me at the gate, I handed over the package in a bag. Before he left, I used HIS phone to call the receiver, and I called her phone personally too. Everything checked out.

@inDrive @inDrive @asher_kine @iamKiekie_ I used an Indrive courier since yesterday to deliver two phones (iPhone 13 and S21 plus). His phone has been dead since then, I have reported to indrive severally, no reasonable response from them. These devices aren't mine, that's a 629k debt.

@inDrive @asher_kine @iamKiekie_ @inDrive the driver has put the order as delivered on his end, I wasn't given room to confirm whether that was done or not. Now, two devices are in the wind with no way of reaching the courier. @thatverydarkman @asher_kine @heisrema

@MTNNG Indrive has been unable to do anything, my calls are not being answered, I need help, this package aren't mine, this is a huge debt for me. @inDrive @MTNNG I really need this rider tracked. @heisrema @thatverydarkman

@inDrive @indrive.ng @asher_kine it's been 15 hours, I haven't gotten any info on my package or anything. I have complained on all your platforms, your rider has not delivered the two phones I gave him to deliver for me from Ikeja to Surulere, he isn't picking up my callsor the recipient
