The moral inversion has reached insane levels on here.

Hezbollah is a foreign-controlled terrorist entity that infested Lebanon and took over large parts of the country by force. They have terrorized not just Israel, but Lebanon and several surrounding controls.

There was no conflict between Israel and Lebanon on October 8th. Yet that day, Hezbollah started firing missiles at Israel and has not stopped since. Missiles they’ve been stockpiling for decades for a war. That was before Israel had even gone into Gaza. It wasn’t in defense of anything.

Now after almost a year of non-stop attacks, Israel is doing what is necessary to dismantle the group. Somehow certain people have tried to turn the Tehran-controlled terrorists into the good guys and the country defending their citizens against them into the aggressor.

It would be like painting The Taliban and Al Qaeda as defenders of Afghanistan and America as the aggressor post 9/11. The abandonment of basic sense and moral clarity in this conflict is poisoning the entire discussion.

05:00- Israel target Hamas terrorists hiding at the Al-Tabeen compound.

05:20 - Hamas Health Ministry announce that 40 martyrs were killed.

05:40 - Hamas sees an opportunity to inflate the numbers and sends another message saying 100 martyrs were killed.

07:00 - First media report claims the IDF killed over 100 in a school.

08:00 - Condemnations from every country and politician, all sharing Hamas' numbers.

12:00 - Western media extensively covers a major attack on a school, allegedly killing hundreds, once again sharing Hamas' information and not distinguishing between armed Hamas men and civilians.

17:00 - CNN publishes an article with the headline “More than 90 Palestinians killed in Israeli strike on a school and mosque.” You have to read to the last line, after nine paragraphs, to find that these numbers cannot be verified. This was Hamas’ intention hiding in a school compound to have a headline like this spread.

18:00 - Israel publishes the list of the 19 terrorists killed in the strike, proving that one room in the complex was being used as a Hamas control center.

19:00 - Hamas revises the number from 100 to 40.

20:00 - Israel releases images of the strike, proving it was extremely precise, with munitions that could not have blown up a school and a mosque. Only the room with the terrorists hiding in it was hit. School was not in session.

Once again, Hamas has lied and manipulate Western media and world leaders. And once again, sadly, they played all of us perfectly.

I was born Muslim and lived all my life as an Arab. There was not a single day that I felt like a minority, that my mother tongue or culture was threatened with extinction, or that people singled me out because of my color, language or whatever I say or do. We have 21 Arab countries, half of them are dumpsters not worth being called states.

The total mass of territories under Arab sovereignty is 13.3 million sq km. The total mass of Israel with Palestinian Territories is 25 thousand sq km. Yet, somehow, the majority of Arabs think that conceding this tiny fraction of land to Jewish sovereignty is the end of the world, and that our salvation is incumbent on destroying Jewish nationhood.

My closest friends are Jews with an Arab mother tongue. Their life experience has been the total opposite experience of mine, suffering discrimination, unfair treatment (socially and politically) and everything that we today call antisemitism. Naftali Bennet captures it beautifully in his Post below.

You don't have to be pro-Israel. You only have to be fair and graceful. A negligible 25k thousand sq km allows Jews to maintain their culture -- including language and traditions -- and pass them onto their off springs like all other cultures do. Jewish existence in the midst of Arabs offers desperately needed diversity and breaks the liberty-suppressing uniformity of the Arab/Muslim world.

But no, we Arabs, who cannot even sort out the endless bloody feud between Sunni and Shia, who force minorities like Druze, Alawis and others to hide their faith, think that Jews will have a blast living under our sovereignty, a fantasy that not a single stretch of our history can substantiate.

And now on top of it all, we the Arabs got anyone with insecurity from other nations (Western and non-Arab Muslims) to join our own craziness and cheer for us.

It's incumbent on us, Arabs, to stand up and say no. Our world will only be fixed with our own hands and our own ideas. Time to break taboos and think outside the silly Palestine box.

So let's talk about the speech topic because there is a lot of conflation going on.

Let's say you have someone who comes out and publicly declares themselves a racist KKK member.

That person has a 1A right to stand on a street corner and yell racist stuff (as long as others can say non-racist stuff on that same corner). However, that does not mean that the business that employs that person or the people around them has to keep associating with them. That is not a speech issue. Also, if that person violates rules that everyone else must follow (like defacing private property etc), they should face similar consequences.

The problem we had in recent years is that the far-left extended that to essentially demand everyone dissociate from anyone with views they didn't like, even if many of those views were very mainstream and defensible. They would further demand people even perceived with bad views be punished. So someone doing the OK symbol became equivalent to a KKK member. The right correctly pushed back on this. But this creates conflation between the idea that no one should face ostracization and that regular people should not be subject to such dissociation.

There are some people who should absolutely be ostracized by a decent society. That includes KKK members AND open supporters of murderous terrorists. It includes anti-Semites and Nazis. Now the very same people who eagerly advocated for canceling anyone who might have views they don't like are trying to normalize the anti-Semites and terrorist sympathizers they support by nonsensically insisting that support for free speech requires simply accepting and associating with such people. Only they use euphemisms to try to downplay the horrendous views they are trying to normalize. There is no requirement for anyone else to buy into such nonsense. They are free to support terrorists and decent people can, and should, want nothing to do with them accordingly. Decent people should want them punished for breaking rules, harassing Jews, committing violence etc.

Don't let those who supported canceling for political disagreements gaslight you into the idea that you need to excuse anti-Semitism and support for terrorism in the name of free speech. Don't let them insist that rules shouldn't apply to their anti-Semitic friends.

This isn’t about “desire to wipe out Hamas,” it’s about the necessity of it.

The idea that Israel can allow a fully-armed terrorist group that is dedicated to wiping out their people to exist and plan on their border after what happened Saturday is insane. No one in Israel is going to just pause and wait for the next slaughter. No other country would be expected to do so. Certainly not the UK or US.

There is no choice regarding wiping out Hamas. The best we can hope for is that it is done quickly and with as few civilian casualties as possible.

Israel is at war.

We didn’t want this war.

It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way.
But though Israel didn’t start this war, Israel will finish it.

Once, the Jewish people were stateless.

In fighting Hamas, Israel is not only fighting for its own people.
It is fighting for every country that stands against barbarism.

If you don't live in Israel or consume Israeli media, you don't know who Yair Golan is. He is a 61-year-old retired Major General in the Israel army and a former parliament MP. Spend a minute to read this story.

Yesterday, when IDF and the police were in complete chaos, Golan put on his old uniform, took his weapon, and drove into the war zone multiple times to rescue civilians under fire. He rescued two young adults hiding under a bush after 260 of their friends were murdered at an outdoor party. He answered a call from a journalist that his son was hiding under fire and simply said, "Give me his location, and I will bring him back home." An hour later, the son called his father from Golan's car.

Golan collected a small crew and went in and out of the war zone, rescuing dozens of people while exchanging fire with Hamas terrorists. He is 61, he could have stayed home, but he chose to risk his life for people he does not know.

Golan is one of the strongest voices from the Israeli left and was constantly attacked by the right wing in Israel. But when the time came, he was first fighting the barbaric attack. The same brain wiring that supports peace, is often the same wiring that drives people to do the right thing.

A true hero.
