Hey, @ChicagoOEMC. Your “traffic control officers” at Roosevelt & Michigan aren’t letting pedestrians cross either street. As in people are standing on corners through multiple lights and getting yelled at by officers when they finally find an opening and go. Do better.

Once, my MARTA bus sideswiped a roadwork sign (no damage), but the driver did the "I have to wait for a supervisor" thing, and one of the construction workers who was going to be early to work was freaking out because now he was at risk of being late and being fired. BUSY.

Well said. If you're a local leader who "can't use MARTA" b/c your "schedule is too busy" you need to be speaking out constantly on the need for better transit service in the city.

Because many of the rest of us are busy too, & are reliant on transit b/c we can't drive.

Another time, a hotel worker was practically in tears because we got ghosted by our bus and she was risking being charged late fees at daycare. Again, she had planned her trip times well, but 15-minute headways combined with MIA buses and traffic are disastrous. BUSY.

@atlurbanist I used to take the 110 from Midtown to Buckhead every day. One assumes all the uniformed workers getting off at Piedmont Hospital, Buckhead hotels/restaurants and various construction sites were busy.
