@vijaita@ikasnik Hahah, ye dar is baat ki hai ki ab ye awaam se inke lathi dando aur aasu gole ka dar khatam hogaya hai. Yeh baat satisfying hai ki jo culture mr.Modi, amit shah and co. ne itne institutions ko hollow out kar k develop kar liya tha wo ek Student movement ne challenge kiya
If this incident has made men think that if even something this small will be escalated in a way where they have to be afraid that their social standing will be lost, good. It is a fraction of the fear that women are taught every day.
#WATCH | Nanded, Maharashtra | A woman, Anchal, applied vermillion on her head with the blood of her boyfriend, Saksham Tate, who was allegedly killed by her father and brother.
Anchal says, "We were together for three years. My family got to know about it. Because he was a Scheduled Caste, my family did not agree to our marriage... My family had told him that if he wanted to marry me, he would have to convert to Hinduism. He was ready to do this also... My family was just waiting for an opportunity to kill him... We had talked in the morning when he was going to the station to drop off his aunt. Even I had no idea this would happen... I got to know about this the next day from the newspaper. No one told me about it... The day Saksham was killed, my brother had taken me to the police station in the morning to get a false case registered against him. I did not agree to file any case. The policemen told my brother that instead of fabricating cases, why don't you actually kill the concerned person before coming to us? My brother took it as a challenge and killed Saksham..."
I ask Justice Chandrachud why the Supreme Court simply accepted the government’s open ended assurance to restore statehood in Jammu and Kashmir.
His answer: “At some point.. the government has to take a call on what's in the interest of the nation".
I ask: isn't that placing too much trust in government decision making?

This report is among the most rigorous and compelling evidence for electoral fraud that I have come across.
Any election commission worth its salt would have cancelled this by-election in Kundarki, district Moradabad, UP in 2024.
Kudos to @scroll_in team.
Any response @ECISVEEP ?
I've known Sanjay Kumar for 2 decades -- know him to be honest and insightful. CSDS has been at the forefront of social science scholarship for decades.
Yes, a big mistake, but he owned up to it.
It shouldn't undo the decades of incredible work Sanjay and CSDS have produced.
Hello @amitmalviya, Thanks for exposing @ECISVEEP again by sharing their voter ids.
The three people in the pic you shared ( Om Prakash Bagri, Saraswati Bagri and Mala Bagri) have two different EPIC id. One is registered in Mahadevpura and another in South Bengaluru & Cuttack.
1. EPIC numbers (SVF9456682, SVF9456690, SVF9456708) are from Mahadevpura as shown by Rahul Gandhi.
2. EPIC numbers (RDU4978128 & RDU4978136 from South Bangalore, YNY0628511 from Cuttack) as shown by their election ID.
How can someone have two EPIC numbers with different house locations @ECISVEEP@ceo_karnataka, please explain.
The recent event at @SouthAsianUni where I was encircled by Right Wing extremist goons & then beaten up,touched inappropriately by Ratan Singh, isn't an isolated event. Fr last 1 year I've been sending mails to the administration about how they've made me feel unsafe(1/n)
Zakia Jafri has left us. She was the symbol of a long battle that she fought in the name of truth. Here's an oped I wrote to say that it is important to remember Ehsan Jafri - and now Zakia too
