No. The system hasn't failed. The people who hijacked it have failed the system. Have destroyed it.

A parliamentary democracy stands on one foundation: the people's mandate. That's why we hold elections. When elections are rigged and the mandate is stolen, those without public legitimacy inevitably drive the country down the abyss.

Imprisoning @ImranKhanPTI, the leader millions trust and replacing the people's choice with a corrupt, fascist, elite rule is not a failure of the system. It is the subversion of the system.

Pakistan's parliamentary system has not failed. It has been repeatedly undermined by the establishment since 1977, denying the people the right to let their chosen representatives govern.

People of Pakistan: Don't be distracted by this debate. It is political chaff, designed to divert attention from the real issues: the destruction of the economy, the erosion of constitutional rule, political repression, killings and the imprisonment of thousands whose only "crime" was demanding that their vote be respected.

Our demands are clear:

• Restore the Constitution.
• Repeal the 26th and 27th Constitutional Amendments.
• #ReleaseImranKhan
• Hold Free and fair elections now, with EVMs, we trust neither you, the ECP nor a manual ballot.

Usurpers, looters, killers, stop blaming the system. Accept that you have destroyed it.
Forget our dignified people, even the "cockroaches" are coming for you now.

We have absolutely no reliable information on Imran Khan’s health. Imran Khan have never had any blood pressure issues. His normal blood pressure has always been on the lower side since he does regular exercise for several hours a day. So this disinformation being spread on Imran Khan has all the markings of the agency disinformation cell. Are they trying to set the stage for something more serious to happen to him? All those claiming credible sources are effecting their own credibility!

“مجھے دو سال پہلے کہا گیا کہ تین سال کے لیے پیچھے ہٹ جاؤں اور موجودہ نظام کو چلنے دوں، لیکن میں کسی یزید کے کہنے پر تین سال تو کیا تین منٹ بھی خاموش نہیں رہوں گا۔

مجھ پر چھبیسویں ترمیم کو قبول کرنے کا بھی زور ڈالا جا رہا ہے لیکن میری جدوجہد ہی قانون کی حکمرانی کی ہے اور چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم عین اس کے منافی ہے۔

مجھ سے نو مئی کی معافی مانگنے کا مطالبہ کیا جاتا ہے مگر معافی وہ لوگ مانگیں جنہوں نے سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج چرائی ہے، جنہوں نے عورتوں کی عزتیں پامال کیں، لوگوں کے گھروں کا تقدس برباد کیا، ہزاروں سیاسی ورکروں کو جیلوں اور عقوبت خانوں میں ڈالا اور بے گناہ لوگوں کو شہید کیا۔ نو مئی کے کیسز کی ایک گھنٹہ بھی میرٹ پر سماعت ہو تو یہ بےبنیاد مقدمات فوری ختم ہو جائیں گے، لیکن المیہ یہ ہے کہ یہاں انصاف ہونا تو دور کی بات انصاف ہوتا نظر بھی نہیں آ رہا۔

ظلم سے قومیں کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ نئے سرے سے بنتی ہیں۔ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے 13 سال مشکل ترین وقت کاٹا لیکن آپ ﷺ ڈٹے رہے اور بالآخر سرخرو ہوئے۔ لہٰذا ہم سب کو آپ ﷺ کے نقش قدم پر چلتے ہوئے بحیثیت قوم ڈٹ کر آخری دم تک مقابلہ کرنا ہوگا۔

جب انصاف کا ہر دروازہ بند کر دیا جائے پھر پر امن احتجاج کے سوا کوئی راستہ نہیں بچتا۔ تحریک انصاف سمیت پوری قوم کو پیغام دیتا ہوں کہ ملک گیر احتجاج کے لیے تیار رہیں۔

پاکستان میں قانون مکمل طور پر معطل ہے۔ یہاں عورتوں کی بھی عزت محفوظ نہیں ہے۔ میری اہلیہ بشریٰ بیگم صرف سہولت کاری کے الزام میں 14 ماہ سے قید تنہائی میں ہیں حالانکہ ان پر جرم ثابت بھی نہیں ہوا۔ ڈاکٹر یاسمین راشد کینسر سروائیور اور بزرگ خاتون ہیں مگر ان کو بھی بے شرمی سے جعلی مقدمات میں پابند سلاسل کیا گیا ہے۔ میری ہمشیرگان، جن کی عمریں 65 سے 70 سال کے درمیان ہیں، ہائی کورٹ کے حکم پر جیل مجھ سے ملنے آتی ہیں جو ان کا اور میرا بنیادی حق ہے مگر ایک کرنل ان کو روک دیتا ہے اور عدالت کا حکم ردی کی ٹوکری کی نذر ہو جاتا ہے۔ جنگل کے قانون کا یہ عالم ہے کہ میری بہنوں کو یہاں سے گرفتار کیا جاتا ہے اور چکری کے پاس آدھی رات کو لے جا کر بے یارو مددگار چھوڑ دیا جاتا ہے۔ جس ملک میں اپنی ہی خواتین کے ساتھ ایسا سلوک ہو وہاں کا اخلاقی معیار فوت ہو چکا ہے۔ مریم نواز کے لندن میں 5 فلیٹس نکلے تھے مگر ان کی ضمانت دو ماہ میں ہی ہو گئی تھی کیونکہ شریف خاندان ڈیل پر راضی تھا۔ جو فرعونیت کے آگے جھک جاتا ہے اس کے سب کیس معاف ہیں مگر جو حق پر کھڑا ہو وہ بے جرم بھی سزاوار ٹھہرتا ہے۔

دو سال میں بیرون ملک سے کوئی سرمایہ کاری اسی لیے نہیں آ سکی کیونکہ دنیا جانتی ہے یہاں قانون ایک کرنل کے جوتے کی نوک پر ہے۔ یاد رہے کہ سرمایہ کاری کے بغیر نہ ملک میں معاشی استحکام آتا ہے اور نہ ہی معیشت ترقی کر سکتی ہے۔ جب تک عدالتی احکامات کرنل کے اشاروں کے محتاج ہوں گے تب تک سرمایہ کاروں کے لیے اعتماد کی فضا ناپید رہے گی۔

پوری قوم انصاف کے لیے عدلیہ کی طرف دیکھ رہی ہے۔ مگر چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کر کے عدلیہ کو مفلوج کر دیا گیا ہے۔
اس ترمیم کے پیچھے دو ہی وجوہات ہیں:
ایک تو دھاندلی ذدہ الیکشن کا تحفظ کرنا، اور دوسرا مجھ سمیت تحریک انصاف کی لیڈر شپ و کارکنان کو جیل میں قید رکھنا اور احتساب کے خوف کے بغیر بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی کرنا۔

چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے براہ راست دو نتائج نکلے ہیں:

۱: ایک یہ کہ عدلیہ نے اپنے آئینی و روایتی کردار کے برعکس انتظامیہ کے سامنے بالکل سرنڈر کر دیا ہے۔ ملٹری کورٹس کے حوالے سے سپریم کورٹ کا فیصلہ آئین کے آرٹیکل 175 (3) کے متصادم ہے جو کہتا ہے کہ عدلیہ انتظامیہ سے الگ ہے مگر یہاں اس آرٹیکل میں ترمیم کیے بغیر ہی ایگزیکٹو کو عدلیہ کے تمام اختیارات سونپ دیے گئے ہیں۔ ملٹری کورٹس کے ساتھ ساتھ مخصوص نشستوں پر بھی بینچ بنا کر تحریک انصاف سے یہ نشستیں چھیننے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔ ووٹ تحریک انصاف کو پڑا ہے مگر آئین کے بر خلاف یہ نشستیں دوسری جماعتوں کو دینے کی کوشش جاری ہے۔

۲: دوسرا یہ کہ عدلیہ اس قدر مفلوج ہو چکی ہے کہ اعلیٰ عدلیہ اور جج اپنی مرضی سے مقدمات لگا ہی نہیں سکتے۔ نتیجتاً مجھے بھی عدالتوں سے انصاف نہیں مل رہا۔ کبھی میرے کیسز کے لیے بینچ مکمل نہیں ہوت تو کبھی سماعت نہیں ہوتی۔ جان بوجھ کر میرے مقدمات کو التواء میں رکھا جاتا ہے۔ میرے بنیادی انسانی حقوق بھی معطل ہیں۔ جیل مینوئل کے مطابق جو حقوق ایک عام قیدی کو حاصل ہوتے ہیں مجھے وہ بھی نہیں دئیے جا رہے۔ میرے بچوں سے میری بات نہیں کروائی جاتی، میری اہلیہ سے ہفتے میں ایک طے شدہ ملاقات بھی روک دی جاتی ہے اور تو اور میری کتابیں تک روک لی جاتی ہیں۔ یہ سب صرف اس لیے کیا جا رہا ہے تاکہ میں ٹوٹ جاؤں۔

It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.

I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.

But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.

I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.

ہر منگل کو ملاقات نا کروانے میں شاید وہ اپنی طاقت منوانا چاہتے ہیں مگر ہر منگل سب سے زیادہ نفرتیں بٹورتے ہیں۔ دنیا میں کم از کم ۹۹٪ پاکستانی اس وقت چاہتے ہیں کہ عمران خان رہا ہوں، اور وہ روز طاقت کے ناجائز استعمال دیکھ کر نظام سے نفرت کرنے پر مجبور ہوتے ہیں۔ باہر سے تو انویسٹمنٹ آ ہی نہیں رہی اور ملک کے اندر بےچینی کی وجہ سے کوئی اندر سے بھی انویسٹمنٹ نہیں کر رہا۔ لوگوں کا حال کافی برا ہے اور جب وہ یہ بولنے کی آزادی محسوس نہیں کرتے تو نفرتیں اور بڑھتی ہیں۔

اگر یہ سودہ فائدہ مند نظر آتا ہے انہیں تو ان سے زیادہ بدنصیب شاید کوئی نہیں۔

عمران خان کو تکلیف دینے کے لیے پوری قوم کا پہلے بھروسہ توڑا اب روز بد دعائیں اور نفرتیں حاصل کر رہے ہیں۔ یہ ایک گھاٹے کا سودہ ہے، آج نہیں تو کل اس ظلم کا ایک ایک لمحہ پچھتائیں گے عاصم منیر، ان کی ٹیم اور شاید”اللہ کی فوج“ ۷ لاکھ سپاہی بھی، جو دیکھ سب کچھ رہے ہیں مگر قیادت سے سوال نہیں کرتے کہ عمران خان کے جیل کے حقوق کیوں نہیں دیے جا رہے ۔

طاقت ہمیشہ نہیں رہے گی۔ یہ وقت مشکل عمران خان اور پاکستانیوں کے لیے بہت مشکل ضرور ہے مگر حق پر ہونا کافی حوصلہ بھی دیتا ہے۔ کوئی ہار نہیں مانے گا۔ سب سے اچھی تجویز ظالموں کے لیے یہ ہے کہ عدالتیں آزاد کریں ، اللہ سے اور پاکستان کی عوام سے معافی مانگیں اور انصاف کا جمہوری نظام قائم ہونے دیں۔

گزشتہ روز ہماری فیملی نے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ میں خیبر پختونخوا کے وزراء سے ملاقات کی۔ اس ملاقات میں عمران خان کے تمام قانونی اور جائز جیل حقوق کی بحالی کے لیے اٹھائے جانے والے اقدامات پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔

ملاقات کے دوران وزراء نے درج ذیل پیش رفت سے آگاہ کیا:

1۔ کوئی اضافی (سرپلس) بجٹ نہیں ہوگا، کیونکہ عمران خان نے ہمیشہ ہدایت دی ہے کہ تمام دستیاب وسائل خیبر پختونخوا کے عوام کی ترقی، فلاح و بہبود اور خوشحالی پر خرچ کیے جائیں۔

2۔ خیبر پختونخوا حکومت وفاقی حکومت کی جانب سے طلب کردہ 175 ارب روپے کی منتقلی کے لیے کسی بھی معاہدے پر اس وقت تک دستخط نہیں کرے گی جب تک کہ درج ذیل مطالبات پورے نہیں کیے جاتے:

• خیبر پختونخوا کو ضم شدہ اضلاع (سابق فاٹا) کے لیے موجودہ مالی سال کا مکمل حصہ فراہم کیا جائے، جو تقریباً 300 ارب روپے بنتا ہے۔ یہ فنڈز ضم شدہ علاقوں کی معاشی ترقی، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے ناگزیر ہیں۔

• عمران خان کے تمام قانونی اور جائز حقوق مکمل طور پر بحال ہونے تک کسی بھی معاہدے پر دستخط نہیں کیے جائیں گے، جن میں شامل ہیں:

1۔ عمران خان کو فوری طور پر شفا انٹرنیشنل ہسپتال منتقل کیا جائے تاکہ ماہر ڈاکٹروں کی نگرانی میں ان کا مکمل طبی معائنہ، تشخیص اور علاج ممکن بنایا جا سکے۔

2۔ عمران خان کی گزشتہ آٹھ ماہ سے جاری غیر قانونی تنہائی اور عملی طور پر سولیٹری کنفائنمنٹ کا فوری خاتمہ کیا جائے، جس میں:

الف) ہر ہفتے 6 اہلِ خانہ، 6 وکلاء اور 6 دوستوں (سیاسی ساتھیوں) سے ملاقات کا حق فوری طور پر بحال کیا جائے۔

ب) ان کے بیٹوں کے ساتھ ہفتہ وار ٹیلیفونک رابطے کا حق فوری طور پر بحال کیا جائے۔

ج) کتابوں، اخبارات اور دیگر مطالعے کے مواد تک ان کی رسائی فوری طور پر بحال کی جائے۔

یہ کوئی خصوصی مراعات نہیں بلکہ بنیادی قانونی اور انسانی حقوق ہیں، جن کا احترام اور فوری بحالی مزید کسی تاخیر کے بغیر یقینی بنائی جانی چاہیے

Yesterday, our family met with KP ministers at the Islamabad High Court. We held a detailed discussion on the steps being taken to restore all of Imran Khan’s legal and lawful prison rights.

During the meeting, Ministers provided the following update:

1. There will be no surplus budget, as Imran Khan has consistently directed that all available funds be utilized for the development and uplift of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

2. The KP Government will not sign any agreement to transfer the Rs. 175 billion requested by the Federal Government unless the following demands are met:

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must receive its full share for the merged districts (formerly FATA) for the current fiscal year, amounting to approximately Rs. 300 billion. These funds are essential for the economic development and stability of the merged areas.

No agreement will be signed until all of Imran Khan’s legal and lawful rights are fully restored, including

1. The immediate transfer of Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for proper diagnosis, examination, and treatment by qualified specialists.

2. An immediate end to Imran Khan’s eight-month isolation and solitary confinement.
a) Restore weekly meetings with 6 family members, 6 members of his legal team, and 6 friends (political associates)

b) Restore his weekly phone calls with his sons.

c) Restore his access to books, newspapers, and other reading material.

These are the basic legal and human rights that must be respected and restored without further delay.

Imran Khan is a former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Denying him access to his family and lawyers is a denial of basic rights that should be guaranteed to every citizen.

It has been over seven months since he was allowed to meet his sisters. No civilised legal system should permit such prolonged isolation. He must be shifted to Shifa International Hospital as per the wishes of his family.

Today is a test for the Supreme Court.
Will it uphold the Constitution, or bow to pressure, like it has been doing for the past few years?

We have received reports that Imran Khan was again taken to PIMS in the early hours of 15 June. We found out through a tweet by Barrister Gohar on the morning of 15 June.

We reject any medical report generated by PIMS regarding Imran Khan’s condition. The same institution has previously made questionable claims, including the assertion that Imran Khan had recovered 90% of his eyesight. Imran Khan himself rejected these claims when his lawyer later met him at Adiala Jail.

A fundamental question remains unanswered: Why does Imran Khan require a fifth injection?

We do not accept the government’s version of events. We demand that Imran Khan be examined and treated by independent, qualified specialists at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. This is an urgent and immediate priority.

A full bench court order permits six family members to meet Imran Khan every Tuesday. Yet over the past eight months, the authorities have largely violated this order. My sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, has only been allowed to meet him a few times, and her last meeting took place on 2 December, 2025.

We reject the government’s continued use of isolation and deprivation as tools of pressure against Imran Khan. Today, we expect all six family members to be allowed to meet him in accordance with the court’s order.

The denial of Imran Khan’s rights is not merely a political issue; it is a clear violation of both the jail manual and High Court orders.

According to the jail manual, Imran Khan is entitled to:

1. A weekly telephone call with his sons.
2. A weekly meeting with family members.
3. A weekly meeting with his legal counsel.
4. Access to books and reading material.
5. Access to television and newspapers.
6. Access to proper medical treatment and regular medical check-ups.
7. Notification to immediate family members before any medical procedure is carried out.

In addition, High Court full bench orders provide that:

1. Imran Khan must be allowed to speak with his sons by telephone.
2. Six family members and six lawyers may meet him every Tuesday.
3. Six friends, including party representatives, may meet him every Thursday.

We demand the immediate restoration of all of Imran Khan’s lawful rights as a prisoner, with access to independent and professional medical treatment in presence of family as the highest and most urgent priority.
