@JewishWarrior13 Wow, JD Vance the warmonger thinks he can solve his problems by killing the people that are trying to kill him. Foolish, he should have sent them another 300B.
The things written here run contrary to the overwhelming majority of texts about the agreement between the United States and Iran—both in their content and in their temperature. They are a cold, cool analysis, not fire and brimstone. They are based on a conversation with a highly knowledgeable source, deeply versed in Israel-US relations. You don’t have to accept them, but they’re worth reading. On days like these, it won’t hurt to take a deep breath and think.
It all begins with the US midterm elections, to be held in about four months. For Donald Trump they are especially decisive. If he loses the House to the Democrats—even if Republican control of the Senate is preserved—he’ll spend the last two years of his term under endless investigations and an impeachment attempt. There’s no doubt he’d be impeached, because in the House, unlike the Senate, only a simple majority is required. For Trump this would be his third impeachment. The fall of the regime in Iran or the removal of the uranium would help him partially, but a surge in energy prices means an almost certain loss in the elections.
The president of the United States had two decisive cards to play. The first: a ground operation to remove the uranium—but Trump believed that at the end of the road he could always get the material out via a deal. The second: destroying Iran’s energy facilities. That’s what he meant in April when he threatened to erase Iranian civilization. In Israel they used a different expression: in Tehran they’ll go back to lighting their homes with candles.
The problem, the source says, is that in this country there aren’t even ten people thinking about what a global energy crisis would mean. For Trump, this is the main thing on his mind. Would Iran be dramatically weakened by such a strike? Certainly. Would it definitely fall before the first week of November 2026? No responsible person can guarantee that. What this means is that the Iranian retaliatory strike would cause an energy crisis with oil at two hundred dollars a barrel, and from there, like a rapid chain of dominoes—inflation, loss of the House, impeachment.
The same goes for the blockade: even assuming it continues to weaken Iran, it means fuel in America reaches six dollars a gallon and inflation climbs further before the regime has even fallen.
So Trump is, in fact, fighting the Iranians with one hand tied—without the Kurdish invasion, without a ground operation, and without striking the energy infrastructure, at least until the elections.
And so the deal was born. This is not a nuclear agreement but a deal about Hormuz. And here, says the senior Israeli source, one must pay attention to something very significant regarding the clause that goes beyond Hormuz matters and into money: it’s a temporary easing of the sanctions on Iran, not their permanent removal.

@danjacob121@JoelCRosenberg Also, you should see how Israelis talk about Israeli politicians, especially Bibi, it's 100 times worse. It's ugly, but maybe it actually helps keep politicians in check.
That's specific people that are Israeli or Jewish, you said it's "Israel".
I don't think that's fair. Look at all the constant shit being thrown at Israel from Americans 24/7, that doesn't mean America has turned on Israel.
For Israelis these are existential matters, very emotional.
Why does no one care?
In Africa, Arab Muslims are enslaving black African Christians.
The media, progressives, Palestinian protesters, the UN, and even the Pope remain silent.
A Trump Advisor is now pushing his Qatari taqiyya against me because I dared to question the terrible MOU with Iran.
Let me repeat that, a Trump Advisor is now attacking a veteran because I dared disagree with something from this administration.
You’re right, Alex, I call foreign ops out all of the time, which is why I am actively calling you and your private jet trips to Doha out.
Now I think I’ll do an entire deep dive into you and everything you’ve been doing.
You wanted the smoke. You got it.
The relationship between the United States and Israel is incredibly valuable to both partners. As CIA director, I saw firsthand how many American lives were saved thanks to Israeli intelligence. We must never forget who are friends - and our enemies - are.
Thank you Col. Spencer, no military takes more measures to minimize civilian casulaties than the IDF and no nation is attacked by more propoganda than Israel. Truth and Israel will prevail.
Vance Attacks Israeli Critics of the MoU
by Hugh Fitzgerald
With a particularly unpleasant tone of a viceroy dressing down the ungrateful leader of the restive natives, Vice President JD Vance told Israel to stop criticizing the MoU because, he said, it would be good for the Jewish state. So far, no representative of that state has praised the MoU; attitudes expressed now range from fury to horror.
"Speaking to reporters from the White House, Vance said that President Donald Trump was 'the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time,' and chastised Israeli cabinet members that the majority of the Jewish State’s defensive weapons were provided through US funding."
It is not true that Trump is the “only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to Israel” at this time. Both parts of that assertion are false. First, Trump has shown no sympathy for Israel’s need to keep hitting Hezbollah in Lebanon and wants Israel to stop, lest continuing to strike Hezbollah causes Iran to pull out of the peace deal. He has accused Israel of needlessly killing civilians: “You don’t have to knock down a building every time somebody walks into it that’s from Hezbollah” is Trump’s misinformed way of describing IDF tactics, where the usual modus operandi is to hit exactly the one apartment in a building being used by Hezbollah terrorists, and to leave the rest of the building intact. Trump has repeatedly and publicly called Netanyahu “f**king crazy.” Can you imagine what Trump’s reaction would be if any foreign leader called him “f**king crazy”? He refused Israel’s request to see the MoU before it was signed. He did not demand that Iran give up its ballistic missiles — a matter of vital concern to Israel — because, Trump said, “it would be a little bit unfair” to keep Iran from having ballistic missiles if Saudi Arabia and others in the region had them.
As for Vance’s claim that the U.S. is Israel’s only ally, that is also not true. Among the leaders around the world who remain staunchly pro-Israel include Javier Milei of Argentina, Narendra Modi of India, Petr Pavel of Czechia, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi of Somaliland, Bernardo Arevalo of Guatemala, Giorgia Meloni of Italy, and Aleksandar Vučić of Sebia. And many of those in Europe who lead anti-Muslim immigrant parties, several of whom are likely to come to power in their country’s next election, include Alice Weidel of the Alternative für Deutschland in Germany, Geert Wilders of the Party for Freedom in the Netherlands, Jordan Bardella of the National Rally in France, and Rupert Lowe of Restore Britain, are all distinctly pro-Israel. Does Vance know any of this?

Israel is going above and beyond to protect the Christian population of Lebanon. I just spoke with senior IDF official, MG Hidai Zilberman, who’s an expert on the issue and confirmed Israel’s tireless work to ensure the safety of the Christian population.
However, Hezbollah has done the COMPLETE opposite. They’re putting Christians and Lebanese civilians directly in the line of fire. They’re attacking Israel from WITHIN Christian population centers and storing their terror assets IN Christian schools.
Israeli officials are in constant communication with the leaders of Christian communities in south Lebanon and are delivering aid to Christian villages to help prevent their dependence on Hezbollah terrorists.
So, anyone who tells you anything other than the truth, doesn’t want Christians to be safe.
Israel remains firmly committed to an immediate ceasefire. At 11:30 this morning, Israel halted all offensive operations; Hezbollah and Iranian claims to the contrary are bold lies.
If Hezbollah honors the agreement and ceases its hostilities, they will be met with quiet.
Israel wants our neighbor to the north, Lebanon, with which we have relations dating back to King Solomon and King Hiram, to prosper and enjoy democratic freedoms, and like any normal country will never compromise on our security.
This will only happen when Hezbollah, a murderous Iranian proxy, is destroyed.
The end of Hezbollah will mark the beginning of a beautiful peace between our two countries.
Israel is in the security zone in southern Lebanon to rid the area of Hezbollah and dismantle its terror infrastructure.
We will remain there until that mission is accomplished.
The people of Lebanon deserve a future free from Hezbollah's grip, and a real, genuine peace between our two countries remains possible.
@KevinBlake30095@geraldposner No, and it's an unfair question to ask IMO if you actually follow the history of the conflict and all the concessions Israel made to attempt peace.

To Trump: In the Middle East, loyalty is currency. If you abandon your closest friend halfway through a fight and cut deals behind their back while leaving them exposed, don't expect anyone to trust your guarantees again. You told the world, "The U.S. and Israel carried out an operation against Iran," then walked away and left your ally standing alone.
In the Middle East, we don't judge friends by speeches; we judge them by who stays when the missiles fly. A person who abandons an ally halfway and cuts deals behind their back is not someone you call in a crisis.
You will say it's about American interests. Fine. But others also have interests, and they have memories. You can call it "America's interests." We call it something else: leaving your friends in the storm.
Before asking, "Why don't they defend themselves?" remember that countries like Israel did and are still doing so alone.
And also remember that the UAE defended itself, struck back forcefully, and banned the Muslim Brotherhood. Many of your countries in the West did neither.
The lesson is simple. If you can leave your closest friend exposed today, why should anyone trust your promises tomorrow? Maybe it's time for the Middle East to start thinking about alternatives.
And yes, when Iran strikes again, don't assume the Middle East will dial Washington. People don't call someone who might leak information to Turkey or cut a deal with Tehran while their friends are still under fire.
Here’s a great video about a great Polish Jew who financed the American Revolution 250 years ago and died penniless 9 years later. His name was Chaim Solomon. Make it go viral before America’s 250th anniversary next month
It is time for the United States Postal Service to ban junk mail.
Unsolicited spam calls are already prohibited by the FCC. Emails are heavily regulated by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Junk mail is the majority of mail, 100 million trees per year. Enough!
