[WATCH]: At the commencement of commercial operations at the Ummbila Emoyeni Wind Energy Facility in Bethal, Mpumalanga, President @CyrilRamaphosa said the success of South Africa's just energy transition will be measured by the opportunities it creates for communities.

The President welcomed the project's contribution to job creation, skills development and women's economic empowerment, saying investment in renewable energy must strengthen local economies and ensure surrounding communities share in its benefits.
