This morning, my friend’s kosher bakery, Bella’s Bread and Butter, experienced an antisemitic assault here on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. My friend’s husband got detained by the police for defending himself, his son who works with him, and his customers. Thankfully, he was released and the bakery is back to business.
