I would like to highlight on the law-and-order situation in our state. All of us know that shortly after the present Govt. took office, there was a communal incident, several communal incidents in Baleswar district and in several parts of the state. Also, recently in a communal incident where a man was murdered in Khurdha district. This should be rectified. Odisha was known for communal peace and harmony and this should be maintained at all cost.

The mismanagement during the Ratha Yatra when the deity, the shrine of Lord Balabhadra tumbled on the ground. This shocked millions of viewers. Also, there is liquor tragedy in Chikiti of Ganjam district. We have always tried to crack down on illicit liquor in the State.

We know as all of us are aware, during the Ratha Yatra a serving Govt Officer who was on duty was called and was violently attacked by the Governor’s son and humiliated. Now, I have a question for all of us. If you are Governor’s son or minister’s son or MP’s son or MLA’s sons or a senior officer’s son, is the law different for such a person? Is he immune from any prosecution? If this is the case then the people of #Odisha should be informed that certain people are above the law.

In my period, no one was above the law. Nobody could escape the law. The present Chief Minister holds the home portfolio, I hope all these will be informed to him, including the case of recent rape and murder of a minor.

There is no such word called "କିଶାନ" in Odia dictionary. It's a Hindi transliteration.

Remember how Hindi killed languages like Braj Bhasa, Awadhi, Magahi etc through imposition.

Why not "ମୁଖ୍ୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଚାଷୀ ଯୋଜନା" if you were so desperate to change?
