There's so much unnecessary and unproductive vitriol online. Posts can be quite acrid as emotions and frustrations fume over charged topics. That's one of the reasons I left social media for many years before just recently returning.

Now, I try (though I'm not always successful) to approach first-time interactions with charity, respect, and the presumption of good intentions. My experience has been that, in so doing, I'm much more likely to elicit a thoughtful, considered response leading to a more productive interaction ... at least initially. And, when I encounter someone who is unwilling to entertain a reasonable exchange of opposing ideas, I simply walk away in order that I not be provoked (many times easier said than done) ... though sometimes, I admit, a parting shot does feel good (hey, I'm only human). 😁

Social media has been purcolating in rage and ad hominems for a couple of decades now, so I have no delusion that my approach will have any affect on interactions at large. But, to be honest, if I didn't employ this approach I'd simply abandon social media altogether as not worth my time and effort. Fortunately, I encounter just enough positive feedback to ignore the voices yelling "Stay down, Rock!" and to get up off the mat for one more round. 😁

Instead of giving each the benefit of the doubt and trying to find common ground for compromise to the benefit of your constituents, you deal in dishonest characterizations, strawman politics, and ideological pettiness ... and we constituents suffer.

"We love America and they hate America" ... the dishonesty is blinding!

"We tried to compromise with them but they won't do it our way" ... the dogmatic irony is deafening!

Americans are so sick to death of all of you. I wish we could throw all 535 of you out of WDC and bar every last one of you from ever again holding public office. Even randomly picking folks off the streets we'd have a better Congress than you lot.

That's it! That's what we should do. Advocate for the ballot option of "None of the above", and then have the AGs randomly select citizens who are resident in each district/state to put in the the Congressional seats.

That's the best idea I've heard since 1974 😁

This is a propsed solution looking for a non-existent problem.

Show us evidence of the voter fraud and election tampering that the President is alleging. Then Congress can consider appropriate legislation to resolve the issue. It's really that simple. just show us the evidence ... why doesn't the President do this?

To date ... and I mean since 03 Nov 2020 when the allegations first began ... the President has shown zero evidence to support his claims.

These claims have become cartoonish. No serious person takes any of these claims seriously. Yes, others parrot the President's allegations, but they do so for political reasons, not because they believe the claims.

Sadly, the more the President pushes for legislation to resolve these false claims, the less seriously anyone considers them.
