I feel, for the most part, all of us strive to be good people. I do not believe that anyone would purposely set out to be a bad person. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm naive to believe this. But I do believe that when situations and circumstances are set up in such a way that pressurises someone, and if their moral compass doesn't work very well, then there is a high chance that they will give in. Mr Bwala, you have caved into evil, into rotteness. You have sold your soul and integrity for crumbs and position. You have destroyed what makes you a man, your deepest truth.

You cave in by giving your excuses that what you do is right, and you have legit reasons to be deceitful and betray the trust of people around you and even their loved ones. You, as a weak-minded man lacking in morality, will definitely teach your children to do the same. That it s it okay to betray their conscious and other for selfish reasons while neglecting the truth.
