@DMaguire85@lancscricket Iβve just reposted this mate. A club that is historically superb at being inept this is some achievement even by their standards. That club is being run like a Sunday league outfit
31 degrees at Old Trafford, no seats left under cover in Stand E and the stand with the most shade (Stand C) is closed. Well played, @lancscricket. Thought we had stopped closing bits of the ground??? π«£
Today, @lancscricket Board disgraced themselves with their contempt for the very people who own the Club. Sarah Storey's performance as Interim Chair was embarrassing. Thank God the Members won most of the votes against the Board's draconian rule changes
And now @lancscricket schedule the Vice Presidents SGM to coincide with the 1st team playing a T20 game at Blackpool. It's not even subtle is it? Get rid of this nondemocratic Board now Lancs Members.

Date for your diary - Sunday 19th July when a Ramsbottom United XI will play host to a Manchester United Old Boys XI at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, 2pm kick off.
It's pay on the gate, Β£10 adults and Β£5 concessions with 50% of proceeds going to @BleakholtUK. It promises to be a great afternoon's entertainment all in aid of a fantastic local cause.
We hope to see you there!
@BumbleCricket As soon as I hear 'outsourcing' I think Thatcher and all the harm outsourcing our transport and utilitities did and continues to do...innmy NHS experience, it only means cutting costs, usually at the expense of the employee to pay the shareholder and poorer service.
Very detailed analysis of the club's finances. I'm not sure - given the large cash losses - how we would have traded through 2026 and 2027 without the Hundred sale. The debt refinancing in 2029 is the next major event. It will come around the time of the next TV deal too.
Good Morning, Lancashire County Cricket Club produced its accounts for the last financial year.
Here's my analysis of them: #lccc

Lancashire CCC AGM brought forward to Bank Holiday Monday , May 25th sandwiched between 2 T20 games ??? How odd . When the original date according to Board members was May 29 .. any ideas why @lancscricket
A number of issues relevant to the Board's SGM resolutions have already been raised by members for the 2026 AGM - see photos below.
If the members pass the Board's resolution 1 then that could be used to invalidate these AGM resolutions retrospectively.
Hearing that it is now more than 2/3 of the @lancscricket Vice Presidents who want change at the top. Gidney & Storey, the main problems. Strong rumours that the great Clive Lloyd, who is about to be elected as Club President, is also supportive of the rebel group.
If you are a passionate Lancashire CCC Member your voice is the HEARTBEAT of this great club.
Do not allow it to be SILENCED! Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β VOTE AGAINST ALL 7 Resolutions proposed by the Board at the SGM on 9 April.
Keep your eyes on this folks. This is IMPORTANT. Itβs not just happening at Lancashire - most counties DONβT want to be beholden to their members & will try to put these measures across. We could be down to 10 cc games a season before you know it -do not remain silent if you care
Telegraph - "Lancashire legends launch rebellion against board! @BumbleCricket among those concerned about running of club, amid fears that hierarchy have taken their eye off cricket". Just go Gidney you are disliked, distrusted & the majority of Vice-Presidents want you out
The Board of Lancashire County Cricket Club has called a Special General Meeting to discuss and vote on a number resolutions for Rule changes which are clearly designed to remove power from members and re-invest it in the Board, many of whom are unknown to the membership
2. The impact is to create unacceptable control by the Board. If these resolutions succeed, then itβs effectively the end of Lancashire CCC being a members Club, since members would be giving up some of their rights and much of their ability to influence.
