You may not know the glorious early years of Modi and Shah. Here's a brief history.

Haren Pandya was Modi's home minister when Modi was parachuted in as Gujarat CM in October 2001. Modi wasn't an MLA and had to win a seat within six months. He needed a safe one. Without it, he was sure to lose.
His eyes fell on Ellis Bridge, the safest BJP seat in Ahmedabad. Haren Pandya was its MLA. Modi asked him to step aside. Pandya's reply: "I'm ready to give this seat to anyone but Modi." He had known Modi for years.

Vajubhai Vala was asked to resign. He obliged, gave up his Rajkot seat, and Modi was in.

In March 2003, Haren Pandya went for his morning walk. He was found dead in his car. Five bullets. The story cooked up: terrorists from Hyderabad. It fell apart.

The truth is simple. Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his aide Tulsi Prajapati pulled the trigger. Sohrabuddin ran with Amit Shah's extortion racket. The man who gave the contract is no secret.

When the UPA took over, the CBI picked up the case. But by then Sohrabuddin and his wife were already dead. Tulsi Prajapati followed, killed in a fake encounter. And the man smiling next to Modi in that photograph? D.G. Vanzara. He carried out both killings.
The CBI had audio tapes of Amit Shah. Shah was arrested in July 2011, bailed on one condition: stay out of Gujarat. The case moved to Mumbai.

Judge Loya, an honest judge, had all the evidence before him. He summoned Amit Shah repeatedly. Shah never showed up, not once, even in Mumbai. Loya was about to order his arrest. Days later, Loya was dead, in Nagpur, at a colleague's daughter's wedding.

He had been offered ₹100 crore and the Chief Justiceship of the Bombay High Court for a favourable verdict. He refused to sell his conscience. He paid with his life.

There's more. Read. Remember. This is the gang sitting in the highest seats of power in our great nation.

भारत के बहुसंख्यक समुदाय मुस्लिमों के घर तोड़ने पर उसे अपना घर दे रहा है. मस्जिद तोड़ने पर मातम मना रहा है, बहुत दिनों से कोई मॉब लिंचिंग नहीं हुई. ऐसे कैसे चलेगा? ऐसे में तो नेता, मंत्री लोग आत्महत्या कर लेंगे. क्या लंगोट में आ चुका हिन्दू अब जान चुका है कि मुस्लिम उनके दुश्मन नहीं है. क्या हिन्दू अब जान चुका है सत्ता जिन स्वतंत्र भारद्वाज, अभिषेक ठाकुर और दक्ष चौधरी जैसे लोग को खाद पानी दे रहा है. उनके मरने पर या जेल जानें पर 4 कुत्ते ही आएंगे एक टांग उठाकर.

दूसरी ओर भारत के मुस्लिम समुदाय को देखिए. एक प्रतिक्रिया ऐसी नहीं कि सत्ता पक्ष को मौका मिले हवा बनाने. जो भी बात भारत का मुस्लिम समुदाय कह रहा है वह कानून के रास्ते ही. मुस्लिम यह जानते हैं कि उन्हें न्याय नहीं मिलेगा. उनकी मस्जिद अगर टूट गईं या तोड़ा गया तो उसे कोई जज अपने फैसले से नहीं बदलेगा. जज को लोया नहीं बनना. यह जानकर भी मुस्लिम सभी कोर्ट के दरवाजा खटखटायेंगे. उनको कुछ भी साबित नहीं करना है. वे जानते हैं वे सच्चे हैं, जनता जानती है मस्जिद वैध जमीन पर बनी थी, कागजात था. बावजूद गिरा दिया गया. मुस्लिम बस दिखा रहें हैं सब्र क्या होता है. वे बता रहें है बहुसंख्यक समुदाय जो विश्व गुरू बनने निकल पड़ा है वह वास्तव में कितना बौना है, झूठ है.इस देश के संविधान और कानून पर अगर किसी को यकीन है तो वो मुस्लिम समुदाय ही है. और वे मरते दम तक उस संविधान और कानून पर ही यकीन करेंगे. क्योंकि इसी संविधान, इसी वतन के लिए उनके पुरखों ने भी खून बहाया है. बाकी आप गर्व करते रहो. ये गर्व रोज भरभराकर गिर रहा है और आपकी बच्चों की जान ले रहा है.

August 13th which saw the passage of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha with your support was a black day for Odisha. The Bill was passed with less than ten minutes of discussion in the Lok Sabha, despite having provisions with far reaching implications for the people of Odisha.

This was not an ordinary piece of legislation. Odisha undoubtedly will be the worst affected by this legislation. As you are well aware, Odisha accounts for nearly 44% of India's mineral wealth. For decades, Odisha has contributed its mineral wealth to the building of India's steel, power, mining and infrastructure sectors. India stands taller and stronger today because of the immense contribution made by Odisha and her people.

The estimated annual loss would be more than ₹12,000 crores leading to lakhs of crores of rupees over time. But the bigger loss is that in a single legislative stroke the control over our own minerals and our mineral bearing lands was taken away from us. And this happened under your watch.

This law is an injustice to the children and youth of Odisha, whose future is linked to the resources and opportunities of this State. It is an injustice to the people of Odisha who bear the pollution, displacement, environmental degradation and the hazards and hardships of mining.

And, above all, it is an injustice to the dream of an empowered Odisha, that has the confidence and resources to determine its own future. I earnestly appeal to you to listen to your conscience and think about the future generations of Odisha.

History remembers and honours those who raise their voices when injustice is done to their people and resources. History will judge you not by the party you stood with, but by whether you stood up for Odisha when it mattered most. You are standing at a historic juncture with a choice to stand and fight for the state and the people who sent you to the Lok Sabha with a mandate to protect their interests. ୨୦୦୦ ମସିହାରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଶାସନର ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ନେଲୁ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୟନୀୟ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଥିଲା। ଆମକୁ ଓଭରଡ୍ରାଫ୍ଟ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ୁଥିଲା। ୨୦୨୪ରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ସରକାର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଆମେ ୫୦ ହଜାର କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ବଳକା ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଥିଲୁ। ଆମର ଦୃଢ଼ ଆର୍ଥିକ ପରିଚାଳନା ଯୋଗୁଁ ହିଁ ଏହା ସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇପାରିଥିଲା। ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ବଳକା କରିବା ସହିତ ଆମେ ଦ୍ରୁତ ପ୍ରଗତି ଆଣିପାରିଥିଲୁ। ଦାରିଦ୍ର୍ୟ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଥିଲା, ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିର ଉନ୍ନତି ହୋଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଅନେକ ଜନକଲ୍ୟାଣକାରୀ ଯୋଜନା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଦ୍ରୁତ ବିକାଶରେ ଖଣି ଟିକସ ଏକ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲା।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଜି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ପୁଣି ବିପଦରେ।

ଆପଣମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ନିକଟରେ ସଂସଦରେ 'ଖଣି ଏବଂ ଖଣିଜ (ବିକାଶ ଓ ନିୟାମକ) ସଂଶୋଧନ ବିଲ୍‌' (MMDR Amendment Bill) ପାସ୍ ହୋଇଛି। ଏହା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ତଥା ଓଡ଼ିଶାବାସୀଙ୍କର ଅପୂରଣୀୟ କ୍ଷତି କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି। ଏତେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଏକ ସଂଶୋଧନ ବିଲ୍‌କୁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ବିନା କୌଣସି ଆଲୋଚନାରେ ପାସ୍ କରିଦେଲେ। କେବଳ ବିଜେଡି ସାଂସଦମାନେ ହିଁ ରାଜ୍ୟସଭାରେ ଏହାକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ବିରୋଧ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଏହି ବିଲ୍‌କୁ ବିରୋଧ କରି ମୁଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଚିଠି ଲେଖିଛି। ଏକ ସର୍ବଦଳୀୟ ବୈଠକ ଡାକିବାକୁ ଏବଂ ବିଧାନସଭାର ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅଧିବେଶନ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିବାକୁ ଚିଠିରେ ଅନୁରୋଧ ମଧ୍ୟ କରିଛି।

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଓ ଓଡ଼ିଶାବାସୀଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ଆଗରେ କେହି ବଡ଼ ନୁହନ୍ତି। ଦଳମତ ନିର୍ବିଶେଷରେ, ମାଟିର ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ପାଇଁ ଆଜି ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଏକାଠି ହେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

ଏହି ସଂଶୋଧିତ ବିଲ୍ ଆମ ଖଣି ସମ୍ପଦ ଉପରେ ଥିବା ଆମ ଅଧିକାରକୁ ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନେଇଛି। ଆପଣମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ କ୍ରୋମାଇଟ୍‌, ବକ୍ସାଇଟ୍‌, ଲୁହାପଥର, କୋଇଲା ଏବଂ ମାଙ୍ଗାନିଜ୍‌ର ସର୍ବାଧିକ ଭଣ୍ଡାର ରହିଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ନୂଆ ଆଇନ ଏ ସବୁ ଉପରୁ ଆମ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ହଟାଇ ଦେଇଛି। ଆମ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ଆମ ଖଣିରୁ କାହିଁକି ଟିକସ ଆଦାୟ କରିପାରିବୁ ନାହିଁ? ଆମ ଲୋକ ଧୂଳି-ଧୂଆଁ ସହିବେ, ଅଥଚ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ ଦରବାର ଆମ ସମ୍ପଦରେ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ହେବ—ଏହାକୁ ଆମେ କେବେ ବି ସହ୍ୟ କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ।

ଦୀର୍ଘ ୨୪ ବର୍ଷ ଧରି ମୁଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥକୁ ଜଗି ରହିଥିଲି। କେନ୍ଦ୍ରରେ ଯେକୌଣସି ଦଳର ସରକାର ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଅଧିକାର ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନେବାକୁ କେହି ସାହସ କରିପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ। ଆପଣମାନେ ୨୦୨୪ରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଚାହିଁ ନୂଆ ବିଜେପି ସରକାର ଗଠନ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ଭିତରେ ସବୁକିଛି ବଦଳିଗଲା। ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ଏବେ ପୁଣି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରର ଦୟା ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

ଆପଣମାନେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରୁ ଲୋକସଭାକୁ ୨୦ ଜଣ ବିଜେପି ସାଂସଦ ପଠାଇଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏ ମାଟିର ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ହେଲେ ପାଟି ଖୋଲିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ରାଜ୍ୟ ତଥା ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାରେ ସେମାନେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଫଳ ହେଲେ।

ବିଜୁ ବାବୁ ସବୁବେଳେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ 'ଆର୍ଥିକ ସ୍ୱୟଂଶାସନ' ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସଂଶୋଧିତ ଆଇନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଆୟ ବହୁତ କମିଯିବ। ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ଆମକୁ ହଜାର ହଜାର କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର କ୍ଷତି ସହିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ। ଏହି ଅର୍ଥରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଅନେକ ସ୍କୁଲ, କଲେଜ, ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନା ନିର୍ମାଣ ହୋଇପାରିଥାନ୍ତା; ରାସ୍ତାଘାଟ, ପୋଲ, ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇପାରିଥାନ୍ତା; ନୂଆ ନୂଆ ଜନହିତକର ଯୋଜନା ହୋଇ ଚାଷୀ ଓ ଗରିବ ଲୋକ ଉପକୃତ ହୋଇପାରିଥାନ୍ତେ।
